Nice little stop on Rt 2. Coffee For sure a 2nd wave type place. Good specialty drinks like peach cobbler latte. The peach had a real nice citrus zip to it like a real slightly under ripe peach does. The cortado was more like a double macchiato. Pretty strong and not much milk. Not super well frothed. Decent taste, just a bit bitter. I added some simple and half and half and improved it a ton! The pastry We got a wild berry scone. Real good, but was more like a muffin in scone shape. Would have been an A+ muffin. Is a B- scone. The vibe. Definitely New England rustic. Classic 90s rock playing. Three small tables with outlet access. Which was welcome on our road trip. Nice view out the back window. Some seating outdoors. It was all in the sun, so we didn’t take advantage of it. In all, no regrets for the stop, just know what you’re getting! Thanks for the respite from the mountain drive!

Been 5 years since I passed by this place. They lost the rustic feel that I truly enjoyed . Understandable they have to expand to meet the burgeoning traffic. At least , coffee didn't change and they added more selections. Summer coffee drinks are awesome, I had the iced sugar brown pecan latte and it was delicious. Staff service over the counter on the 24th of July was excellent especially the one taking orders and does the cashiering . She loves her work and very accommodating. No rush and very patient . They have few tables to sit and what's nice is they have WiFi .

I felt somewhat indifferent about my experience. The pastries were average; they weren't exceptional, but they weren't bad either. The coffee, however, was lukewarm. It was a self-service environment, and the cashier was not very friendly; she seemed disengaged. The coffee shop itself appeared a bit worn down, and the self-serve area was not clean, with litter on the floor. Overall, I was not pleased with the value considering the quality of the food and service.

First stopped in here a about a month ago and had a good experience, great coffee and food. Was camping out on the Mohawk Trail this weekend and decided to take the family up for coffee and breakfast. Coffee and hot chocolate came out in a timely manner, but it wasn't as good as our last visit, so consistently seems to be an issue. After receiving our drinks we were advised to go outside and our food would be delivered at the take out window. After about half an hour a gentlemen came to the window with what I thought was my order even though it was not complete. After reviewing the food I had received I realized it was not what I ordered and brought it up to the gentlemen at the window and told him what I was waiting for. He disappeared for moment then came back and said he had no record of that order and that although I had already paid for it I could go back inside and reorder. He did not offer to check on anything for me nor do anything that resembled customer service. I had to go back in get in line and wait another 10 minutes to be able to talk with the girl who took my order and verify that I did indeed order and pay for the items. At that point they went into the back and got to work on it. All said and done, I waited 50 minutes for 2 bagels and 2...

I have been going to Shelburne Falls coffee roasters off and on for years. So when a friend came to visit from Florida and we had planned on a trip to Vermont that would take us by there on Monday 12/23/2019 I thought it would be a great place to stop for a quick bite to eat and some great coffee. My friend is most definitely selective about the coffee he drinks as am I. The food and coffee both were excellent, his girlfriend got a hot chocolate also excellent. We went back again today 12/28/2019 so he could pick up some coffee to take back home with him and visit a bit more before he leaves tomorrow. Here's where the 3 stars comes in, his girlfriend had commented several times about the hot chocolate and how great it was. Unfortunately the experience of Monday was not repeated on Saturday. The coffee was still excellent and I had a cheese danish also fantastic but something clearly went wrong in the hot chocolate department. They were both disappointed and I must say I was somewhat embarrassed that the establishment I introduced them to had such a large inconsistency in the product, I truly hope that this was an anomaly. I have always been pleased with whatever I have ordered at any of...

Oh how I just adore this place. I am from New York and whenever I am anywhere within 25 miles of it I will go out of my way to stop by. I will take my time and get several of their delicious desserts to go and one to eat along with a cup of the freshly brewed coffee of the day. Their flavors are numerous and so spectacular. The regular coffees offered are from all over the world! I usually drink half decaf (flavored) and half regular,(caffeinated), most of the time. They offer many swiss water decaf. flavors which I add to half my cup regular. Amaretto is the only flavor I drink purely caffeinated. It is hands down my favorite. I know many people do not like flavored coffee BUT that is NOT the main attraction here. I like the Tarramazu coffee they have which I had even purchased in Costa Rica when on vacation. I order their coffee through the mail because sadly I'm not in the area often. I have been a devotee of Shelburne Falls Coffee Roasters for probably a decade. (Following them as they moved.) The people who work there are truly kind and helpful. Stop by and treat yourself. You will not be...
