āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø We had such a great experience at The Artisan! We tried the Mexican street corn—AMAZING! (If you’re not allergic to peanuts, I highly recommend it.) My husband had the chicken chipotle burrito. It is massive, fresh, and so delish. I went with the black bean quesadilla and loved it—packed with beans and melty cheese, definitely a win. A big shoutout to David, the owner! He was so helpful when I couldn’t decide what to get (I’m always indecisive!) and steered me in the right direction. Everything was delicious, and we’ll absolutely be back!

Our family happened upon this restaurant through a Google search of nearby ones that were open. This place was amazing. The food was great. Angel was a wonderful server and very attentive. He even made us their pineapple water that they made there. Very flavorful. There were five in our group, and we all agreed that we would come again. We didn't know it was triva night. We didn't join but made our guesses and enjoyed ourselves. The restroom was very nice and clean. Great decor.

We were looking for something different for lunch. The Artisan Cafe was an accidental stop. The restaurant is clean and stylish. It wasn't crowded and the staff is small and friendly. I only saw Two people. We ordered the Cuban Sandwich special-$12.00. It sandwich is on a thick butter toast. I'd call it a Cuban style sandwich. It was delicious and big enough for two. It was a little on a pricey side but it was a nice experience.

My travels have brought me to the small town of New Era a couple weeks ago. It was the only place in town. When looking online at the menu, it looked short, but I was hungry so I gave it a try. They specialized in grilled cheese and tomato soup. Why not? It was a rainy day.

This place did NOT disappoint. They brought me this huge stuffed grilled cheese sandwich with piles and piles of ham on it. It had cream cheese on it, which was questionable, but was surprisingly delicious! At $14 for a grilled ham and cheese and tomato soup, simply the best I've ever heard..and that's comparing against a grilled cheese served in Switzerland that was claimed as being a world renowned grilled cheese and one of the best in the world. This place beat them out, hands down.

While I most likely won't be back to this little town, I will miss this gem in the middle of the Mid-northern Michigan wilderness. Stop and try it. It may be a couple miles off the highway, but it WILL...

The few times I ate there I am giving a bill with what I ordered but no price , just a total . I think the bill. is being inflated and or adding a tip on it . Adding in his head if he is doing that mistakes can be made. I am not one too accuse , If I ever eat there again , I want a bill with the prices on it , not just what I ordered and the tax. also. Also don't know how too make chips and cheese with pork , chips are supposed too have pork on the chips not just on the top. And if he is overcharging customers shame on him , I also think I am being singled out because of my anxiety, some people are not understanding, I would never rip anyone 😭. off , I will have too answer one day , as all of us...

The food is good here, but the service is poor, often hard to get the guys to come to your table to take orders or to come back when something else is needed. Also, if you place a large carry out order, apparently they add a 20% gratuity! I don't know if this is even legal since no one was waiting on us at a table. They give gift certificates for trivia, but then put all kinds of restrictions on using them. We tried to use them for said carryout order for for couples and we're told we could only use one "per order" which had never been stated anywhere. And I gave up on ordering a glass of wine there as their pores are about...
