Japanese Express — Restaurant in Shelby

Normally I really love this place because they're the only Japanese place that has cream cheese wontons. After being super busy and getting super hungry I decided to go up there, drove 30 minutes because there's only a place that has wontons and that also has Japanese food so I wouldn't have to go to different places, the website says theyre open. I got all the way there to find that it was completely empty and they were not open at all in the middle of the day. So that's awesome cuz I wasted my time and drove 30 minutes for nothing for them to be closed and there's no warning or anything online of why they're closed and it says that they're open. So now I have to go back in the complete opposite direction past my house and then all the way to hickory I guess to go to two different places to get the same food except now the place near my house is closed until 4:00 so now I have to find some random other something to eat and im starving so it would just be really nice to know that your clothes before you drive all the way up there and maybe you should post that online or on your website or somewhere so people don't waste all of...

Absolutely disappointed with my take out experience ! Being completely transparent I was not completely satisfied with the customer service, however everyone is entitled to treat others as they please . My dissatisfaction stems from the quantity and the quality of the food provided to me. I purchased dinner items in the amount of $36 in which resulted in the garbage. Unfortunately the orange chicken was very mushy and smelled weird . Lo mein was just plain spaghetti noodles , sweet carrots were not fully cooked , steak / chicken I digress . If you are vegan or vegetarian, go for the tofu!! It is cooked amazingly well. Made with silken tofu and it’s very smooth (unlike other fast food Asian places that overfry it horribly). I went to Shelby for a work trip, and after a long day I dropped by here and I was so pleasantly surprised by the food! Unfortunately I waited over 35 minutes even though I was picking up for To-Go. It was a busy night but the lady at the front was very nice- she was taking orders at the counter, over the phone, and through drive-thru while simultaneously packing to-go orders.
