Read moreAn absolute 5 star gem!!! Drove up from NYC today for a quick day trip in the area, and after reading the Google reviews about this eaterie/bakery - we decided to try it out!!
There's plenty of outdoor and indoor seating, and we were lucky enough to get a table outside. Our server was Morgan, and she was amazing! Funny, welcoming, made excellent food, drink,, and dessert recommendations - and made our dining experience a evening to remember.
Items we ordered:
Red Sangria and Mimosa (with Pineapple Juice and Grenandine) - both drinks were fruity yet had a nice kick of liquor.
Veggie Minestrone Soup and Split Pea Soup - Absolutely delicious (they also sell frozen quarts of the soup which you can take home).
Rodeo Burger, Chicken Fajita, and California Melt - all were excellent and tasty, and great size portions. Their potato salad which is served as a side dish for their burgers and sandwiches was also very good.
Key Lime Pie and Pumpkin Whoopi Pie - Super yummy, fresh, and sweetly delicious.
Morgan made us feel like we were part of the family there, the food and drinks were great, the prices were excellent - and we will definitely visit again very soon! Apparently the brunch is something to be enjoyed and savored, so we will visit again very soon!!
THANK YOU FOR A BEAUTIFUL DINING EXPERIENCE!
P.S. - Bought their Apple Pie (they sell pies to take home too) and I'm eating it now as I write this, and it is...
Read moreUPSIDE: Been to the restaurant and bakery multiple times. Every time I’ve gone to the restaurant and tried new things, everything was excellent! Never had a bad meal there. The chicken pot pies that you can buy to cook at home are delicious (a bit heavy on the cream side though- so beware if you have sensitivity lol).
The bakery has amazingggggg pies!!! Raspberry peach is the best! All of them a awesome. Best pies I’ve had in a long time.
DOWNSIDE: Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT bother getting their takeout pizza. Sorry to say- but it was probably the worst I’ve ever tasted in my life (and I’m from New York and have eaten a LOT of pizzas in my lifetime haha). LOVE the pies and restaurant- but stay away from the pizza. Not their forte. Also avoid their baked goods that aren’t pie-related. I hate saying this since I love the place- but I’m an avid baker and dessert lover and I’ve tried their cake/cupcakes and dessert bars a couple times and each time I was very disappointed. The lemon bar was probably a recent one I tried that was horrid. Had barely any lemon flavor and tasted like food that sat in the fridge too long and soaked up the flavors from the Mexican take-out you got the night before (NOT even kidding). It tasted so bad. Also tried the carrot cake and was not impressed. Stick to the dessert pies and...
