1 year update: I still come here regularly! The shop has developed into a very comfortable and welcoming environment, the staff are all incredibly nice people, and the coffee is still amazing! My go to is the Americano with a splash of half and half.
First time being there during one of their pop ups and I'm very much looking forward to having a local coffee roastery and shop open up around here! I had the Americano and picked up a bag to take home; the drink was just right, and the folks running the store were absolutely great to chat with. David and Julie have a plan for their shop and I look forward to it!
The Sherwood roast has a great flavor to it that is definitely a wake up in the morning type of choice
Edit for Opening: The shop has opened! I went there on a Saturday and David, Julie, and Aaron were there serving up some amazingly good coffee! The people coming and going are a great collection of personalities and the store has evolved in its design to be incredibly comfy. It was great watching the store take shape like it has now, and talking with David he said it was just going to get better and better.
Parking is easy right next to the store, it's got a great location just off 107. This place is great, definitely please go...
Read more1677 Coffee Roastery is such a great small business in Sherwood! Great friendly people who provide an incredible service. Their Arkansas Pecan coffee is an amazing selection in my opinion. They are just getting the coffee shop part of their business up and going. They offer beans, ground drip coffee, ground pour over coffee options at different sizes. They fresh roast frequently. You can email, call, order online and/or have coffee grounds or beans beans mailed to you or you can pick up, or stop in and pick up. Some people I have seen bought the beans and then came back in later and 1677 ground them for them. Amazing service! I really haven't had anything that I have gotten there is that isn't good. Though from what I have tried, I Love Love Love their Arkansas Pecan. I haven't tried all of their blends or bean selections but I have several of them. If you love a great coffee, you need to come and try them. Love supporting a local great small business! (and no I am not getting a kick back or anything, we just need need to support great local small businesses that do a great job and provide a great product) I am currently sitting here, drinking a latte that I got there...

I wanted a way to buy coffee with less wasteful packaging, so I asked (via email) if I could bring in my own container- very quickly I got a response from the owner that, yes, that’d be perfectly fine with him, so I did. Tip: a quart size mason jar will hold a pound of freshly ground coffee, but you’ll have to tap the jar against the counter a few times to settle it and make more room. Or bring two jars!
I’ve tried the blend he recommended for me in lots of ways: cold brew concentrate, pour over, French press, and in my Nespresso machine with a reused pod and reusable cap. Everything has been incredible and delicious- the best coffee I’ve had in ages, and I’m making it at my own house!
I’m the only coffee drinker on my house, so one pound has lasted me some time. I got it espresso-ground, and it’s lost only the tiniest bit of it aromatic quality in several weeks (it’s stored in one of those OXO pressure sealed containers withy he pop button on top, at room temp). I’ll definitely be back for more!
Really, give them a try! It’s fabulous coffee and helpful people....
