I had the pleasure of visiting 1677 Coffee Company and Roastery Studio in Little Rock, and I was blown away. The coffee was rich, smooth, and absolutely delicious—I ordered a latte with white mocha and paired it with a mouthwatering cinnamon roll that hit the spot perfectly. What really made the experience shine, though, was the incredible service. I was helped by Noah and had a great chat with David, the owner, who was not only welcoming but also took the time to share the story behind the shop and explain his roasting process. You can tell there's a real passion for craft coffee here. The shop is housed in what appears to be a converted old gas station, giving it a super cool, laid-back vibe that's both stylish and relaxed. It made our quick 15-minute break from work feel like a mini retreat. I’m in Little Rock for work for the next 30 days, and this will definitely be a regular stop for me. If you’re in the area, don’t miss this gem—it’s a perfect blend of quality, character, and community.

This is more of a place to visit for atmosphere and white culture. I am a black male me and my wife wanted some coffee. I could tell that people were a little uncomfortable. I was also a little disappointed in the pricing. $12 for very small complementary hotel cup. I feel like this small option should not even be available for purchase. You can get a very large cup from McDonald’s for three dollars and at seven brew and other places in North Little Rock for six dollars you should at least get a full-size cup medium small they’re small is too small and the coffee is disgusting. However, the coffee looks good just doesn’t taste. Good service is good atmosphere is good. Not much diversity in this place. That’s my only review go to McDonald’s. You’ll save a lot more money and get better taste and coffee. I would actually go purchase my coffee somewhere and go to this place and drink it and possibly order something off of the food menu instead of the coffee menu

1 year update: I still come here regularly! The shop has developed into a very comfortable and welcoming environment, the staff are all incredibly nice people, and the coffee is still amazing! My go to is the Americano with a splash of half and half.

First time being there during one of their pop ups and I'm very much looking forward to having a local coffee roastery and shop open up around here! I had the Americano and picked up a bag to take home; the drink was just right, and the folks running the store were absolutely great to chat with. David and Julie have a plan for their shop and I look forward to it!

The Sherwood roast has a great flavor to it that is definitely a wake up in the morning type of choice

Edit for Opening: The shop has opened! I went there on a Saturday and David, Julie, and Aaron were there serving up some amazingly good coffee! The people coming and going are a great collection of personalities and the store has evolved in its design to be incredibly comfy. It was great watching the store take shape like it has now, and talking with David he said it was just going to get better and better.

Parking is easy right next to the store, it's got a great location just off 107. This place is great, definitely please go...

1677 Coffee Roastery is such a great small business in Sherwood! Great friendly people who provide an incredible service. Their Arkansas Pecan coffee is an amazing selection in my opinion. They are just getting the coffee shop part of their business up and going. They offer beans, ground drip coffee, ground pour over coffee options at different sizes. They fresh roast frequently. You can email, call, order online and/or have coffee grounds or beans beans mailed to you or you can pick up, or stop in and pick up. Some people I have seen bought the beans and then came back in later and 1677 ground them for them. Amazing service! I really haven't had anything that I have gotten there is that isn't good. Though from what I have tried, I Love Love Love their Arkansas Pecan. I haven't tried all of their blends or bean selections but I have several of them. If you love a great coffee, you need to come and try them. Love supporting a local great small business! (and no I am not getting a kick back or anything, we just need need to support great local small businesses that do a great job and provide a great product) I am currently sitting here, drinking a latte that I got there...

Basically: Excellent all around. I wanted a way to buy coffee with less wasteful packaging, so I asked (via email) if I could bring in my own container- very quickly I got a response from the owner that, yes, that’d be perfectly fine with him, so I did. Tip: a quart size mason jar will hold a pound of freshly ground coffee, but you’ll have to tap the jar against the counter a few times to settle it and make more room. Or bring two jars!

I’ve tried the blend he recommended for me in lots of ways: cold brew concentrate, pour over, French press, and in my Nespresso machine with a reused pod and reusable cap. Everything has been incredible and delicious- the best coffee I’ve had in ages, and I’m making it at my own house!

I’m the only coffee drinker on my house, so one pound has lasted me some time. I got it espresso-ground, and it’s lost only the tiniest bit of it aromatic quality in several weeks (it’s stored in one of those OXO pressure sealed containers withy he pop button on top, at room temp). I’ll definitely be back for more!

Really, give them a try! It’s fabulous coffee and helpful people....
