7TH STREET BAR -N- GRILL & HOOKAH — Restaurant in Shively

This place is a "private club" not a bar. Strictly BYOB. They do this, of course, to avoid fees, licensing, and laws pertaining to normal bars. The patronship here seems to be regulated arbitrarily and differs from night to night. Door staff will accept and reject potential clients for various reasons that cannot be assumed beforehand. The only consistency the establishment exhibits is a tendency to provoke violent outbursts that attract police attention on a near nightly basis. I have heard that the business has changed hands recently, but there is no indication that it has improved. As far as the quality of the business... it appears to be in shambles. The exterior is dilapidated and seems to have been assembled by a group of children given spare parts from a construction site and a nail gun, all held together with garden lattice painted white a few years ago. I would not recommend this place, but it still seems to attract a large group of customers regularly. Perhaps I'm missing the allure...

Was not impressed look dirty smelled moldy to me. It’s not even a bar. It’s a private club. Definitely not worth spending any money yet. I give it one star but if I could give it zero...
