Rocco's Pizza — Restaurant in Shoreview

We walked in since their site says you can dine in but it was just a store front with two tables in front and no public bathroom to wash your hands.. Since we just came from the big park we needed to wash hands before we could eat so we made an order to go. I ordered a thin crust large dill pickle pizza and a small pizza fry. I guess this "could" be their idea of thin crust since I've never had their pizza before but this is absolutely twice the amount of crust that I want on a thin crust pizza. We were already home with it when we looked so I'm going to count this as a learning experience and make this our last time with them. My husband says the pizza tastes alright but I can't get past the dry two inches of crust and lack of sauce and toppings. Also my son played their pinball machine while we waited and it ate one of our quarters. We told them, but they didn't give us another or try to get our quarter back. *Edit to add. On day two trying to eat (really bad) cold pizza I discovered all the edges seem to have layers! So I actually think this is two or three thin crusts put on top of eachother!...

I have never ordered from this place before. The reviews looked good. I ordered online, paid with my card. 40 min later... Had no idea I had an email from them saying that my order was not transmitted and to contact store. I did this. I checked with my bank. They already took out payment, however they demanded to be paid again since it was a glitch in their system... Yes I have a problem with that. "No there is no one for you to talk to about this right now, we can possibly have your first payment back to you by Friday" (it's Wednesday) was the response. As I am upset by now with no food on the way, unless I pay AGAIN, and no manger to talk to, I responded with "no I am not ordering from you" no cussing, just very upset as i have been charged and some kid is asking me to pay again. My 3 kids were waiting to try out a new pizza joint and I had hoped this place could be our new favorite. NOPE. the customer service and the online ordering nightmare are enough to keep a sane person away. Improve on these things immediately. Oh, yes, cherry on the top, the person taking orders literally...

First time we ordered was very good! We got the house special pizza and 2 orders of wings. Second time we ordered the same thing, but with no mushrooms on half. Delivery was fast but there were mushrooms on the whole pizza and our wings were soggy. Almost seemed like they had boiled them...? Only ended up eating a couple cause we got grossed out from the weird texture. We love supporting small businesses so we'll of course give a second chance. No complaints about the pizza though, super good...
