Service was behind. Waitresses needed help on the floor. Food coming out wrong from kitchen. We were patient, enjoying my family from out of town. My daughter who works in customer service for the airline let Waitress know that her prime rib was well done when she ordered medium rare. Wasn't upset. Didn't ask for refund or discount. Waitress stated she didn't cook it and would talk to manager. My dinner finally showed up after 3 of our party were done eating. Next came a lady manager. She asked if there was a problem at our table? I told her everything was fine except daughter's $40 prime rib steak was well done. Manager stated she would take off of bill. My daughter told her it wasn't necessary. All of a sudden the manager started yelling at my daughter that she did not appreciate my daughter being rude, yelling and insulting her waitress! We were all in shock! Nothing rude, mean, inconsiderate came from our table or my daughters mouth. My daughter now in tears asked multiple times, "what was I supposed to have said?" The answer went from "she's to upset and crying" to you told her she shouldn't be a waitress". Not said at our table!! People are now turned around in this packed restaurant while manager continues yelling at my very upset daughter. I have seen some overwhelmed Waitresses in my life, but have never seen a manager act with such rudeness and disregard for her customers. The waitress came back and finished up our table. My daughter apologized profusely if she upset her in anyway. The Waitresses told my daughter "I'm sorry it wasn't you". The table behind us was sending back $40 prime rib as we left commenting, "It's not only over done, it's grey!" Unfortunately because of the rudeness of the manager, my Son in Law left no tip for this waitress as his wife left in tears from the actions of this unfit manager. My daughter and my 2 grandchildren left traumatized from this experience. They lost my business and the business of future family and friends coming to spend...
Read moreHad reservations for our family of 6 on Saturday 7-8-23. First time dining at the new location. Had dined at the old place twice in the last year or two and had the best dining experience! The owner has spent some clams on the new building and future casa's in the back. The hostess was not very inviting but ok. Our server, Breann greeted us and took our drink orders. She seemed thrilled to be there! Everyone ordered at the same time. My pizza came out 10 minutes after the other orders and had the flavor of a frozen pizza. Another family member ordered the steak quesadilla and it was like bad beef jerky. No one ever asked "how's your food"? The weirdest part of our dining experience was when our server was talking with us and the female manager just walked up and interrupted her (and us) with a question about another party or something. Was like a bad Waffle House experience! After dinner we went out back for some lawn games and beers. All of a sudden this guy pops up and starts photographing my family without saying a word. Said it was for their website. Told him to stop and delete all pics! Didn't ask and was a Richard about it. Seemed put off that someone didn't want to be part of their ad campaign! What the hell? Explains the poor training when a manager/management has no clue! Place opened in March so hopefully management gets it dialed in soon. The bill was quite high for the quality of food and service compared to " the house place" we dined at on Friday evening. Probably not coming back. The town of Show Low has many awesome places to dine and drink and this is not one of the best! If you want to visit a Buffalo museum, this is the place. If you want a nice dinner experience for family and friends at a reasonable price-keep riding! Just a hungry family guy...
Read more6 of us had reservations last night (a Thursday) for dinner in the restaurant. The pros are it is a cute western "village" with a few other buildings and a brewery we did not go into. The service was good, the food was okay to good. The cons...The meals are priced high for the quality and presentation considering there was not salad or bread and very basic presentation. Brisket with a bowl of beans (on the plate) and french fries was $26.00.They were quite hasty about clearing our table (I was still eating). Immediately after, instead of giving us our checks, they came around and told each couple what we owed and waited for us to give them our payments. My mistake was not asking for the check. Our tab, for 2, was a little over $60.00 and we left a $15.00 tip. Shortly after we all paid, we were told by our first waitress they needed the table for another reservation. She was being as tactful as possible but it took us all by surprise especially since there were other dining rooms with plenty of empty tables that could had been used for a party of 6 or more. As we were leaving, I don't know if a manager and other workers were standing there waiting for us to leave or the next party but we felt very rushed out. I went back in and told the young man at the reception desk my complaint. I should have asked for a manager. I will call a manager today to follow up. We will not be back as there are plenty of other area restaurants that do not treat patrons like we treated last night at the end especially when paying the...
