My husband and I came in to this establishment as a Christmas party for my job. My meal was covered and his was not. At the end of the evening not commenting on any other issues had with the meal I had my husband leave with our daughter because I was going to be paying for his meal and leaving. This was now 8:00. I waited, talking with a co-worker for about 15 more minutes, while also waiting for the waitress to reappear thinking if I was one of the first asking for the check I could leave quickly. False, I asked once. Kept my card visible as a hint of my request. The waitress came by again and asked "so his is separate?" While gesturing to the rest of the food. I nodded and confirmed. She said "okay" passed by a third time while I ensured I made eye contact with her and said she was on her way to get the check. 20 minutes has passed by now. Finally, at 8:50 I tell my co worker who was waiting with me that I might need to go up to the counter to push myself ahead. Seeing as I was one of two there with a young child and no one else seemed in a hurry to leave. So we made our way to the counter where I find my waitress. I tell her I'm here for my check. She responds with "just a minute I'm trying to put everyone's together and it takes time" in a very short manner. So I step back and wait. My co worker has since left. 5 couples have left at this point. When I was the second to stand up in my attempts to leave. Another co worker comes up and doesn't realize what I'm waiting for. He's asked what is needed, he says his bill. He immediately received, paid, left. I'm waiting. This time I stand directly at the counter to prevent this issue again. Several other co-workers come up also leaving, they thought I'd long gone. Why wouldn't they? I've been standing at the counter. I finally leave the restaurant at 9:02 after my husband's food was paid for and my daughter had been waiting long enough for me to come out she...
Read morePoor customer service. I normally try to patronize my own and normally have good experiences. However, this was not the case with this establishment. My colleagues chose to host our annual Christmas dinner here. We had a part of 7-9. I was running behind the reservation time. However, my colleague was there with another colleague about 10-15 min prior to our reservation. She was told they would not seat her until more people arrived. However, while waiting, she observed another party be seated with less than half of their party present. Upon my arrival, half of our party was already there (4). I was not greeted by staff. I was looked at directly by staff members as I set down to join the rest of my party. At this time, about 45 min had passed, and we had 7 people and still were not seated. I was informed that the staff and owner had knowledge of our party, and we still were never seated in a timely fashion. We ended up leaving and going to Ernest’s instead. We had a fabulous night and was greeted and treated with superb customer service.
Update: The owner responded and showed no accountability. However, he tells us to be on time. Our party begin to arrived at 550p for a 6p reservation. As previously stated, another party was seated with less people—in spite of all their party not being “on time.” They had the option to dine and wait until the remainder of their party arrived. In short, please do better Mr. Anthony and have the same practices for all your guest...
Read moreParty of 25 for a birthday party, packed at 3 tables (there were 4 tables in the party room but we were not allowed to use it). We were only given 3 options (two types of steaks and salmon) you were given salad (what’s supposed to a salad huge chunks of lettuce) that was lettuce & tomato and watered down ranch dressing, loaded potatoes, augratin and fries. The steak had a good flavor but it was cold, the salmon was salty, dry and the size of a chicken tenderloin with crumbles of crab meat (from a can). The bread (literally were rolls) was good however, it was placed on the table to serve 9 people they did give us two. For two our ticket was over $170 yes gratuity was included but it definitely wasn’t worth it. The birthday girl or her table didn’t receive their meals when everyone else did, the other 2 other tables were done by the time they received their meals. 1. A chicken choice could have been included 2. If it’s a private party allow the use of the entire room rather pack patrons like sardines. 3. Offer the dressing on the side and allow patrons to dress their own salad (oh and let’s not use water to stretch it). I’ve dined here before (about 6 years ago) and the quality has definitely declined. Oh when we asked for a high chair for our grands we were informed “this isn’t a...
