Sweet Glaze Donuts — Restaurant in Shreveport

Very disappointed in this location... Usually I receive fresh donuts all the time. At least 25 visits to this location since July 2022. I went on Sunday October 2nd, 10 minutes before closing. The location only had glaze donuts available so I purchased 3 when I got home and they were dry and tasted old as if they had been sitting out for a long time. I called the store Tuesday a woman answered the phone I told her that the 3 glaze donuts from Sunday were not fresh. She said 3 donuts was not a big deal she said come to the store so she could see me. I'm assuming she thought I was another ethnicity over the phone because I speak proper English but when I arrived at the shop she was instantly rude saying they don't sell old donuts. I didn't say they were old I simply told her they were not fresh. She proceeds to put the donuts in the bag and slam it on the counter. She is upset about the situation which is confusing to me because she already agreed and bagged the donuts. I said I was going to purchase more donuts and coffee but after all the rudeness I told her I would not be coming back to the store with this unprofessional attitude. I never raised my voice but she was raising her voice and acting ugly over 3 donuts after 25 visits she should have...

Stopped by to pick up breakfast for a large event on a Sunday morning. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Ordered 3 dozen items from donuts, kolaches, croissants, boudin, biscuits, drinks, etc... They were very helpful and patient as I was looking for a little bit of everything.

Nice selection of both jalapeno and plain versions of their kolaches and boudin. Their croissants and biscuits also had about 3 different varieties to choose from. Large variety of donuts from glazed, cake, traditional, filled, twists, old fashioned, fritters, cinnamon rolls, etc...

Everything was very fresh and flavorful. I can't say I preferred any item over the other as they were all very good. Everyone had nothing but...

Stopped in today. The donuts were delicious, the store was very clean, and the staff friendly. The price is comparable to other stores in the area and the location is very convenient if you live in Highland, South Highlands, Waterside, or Broadmoor and don't have much time to stop in.
