The service is 4 stars, because I am certain that the employees who are always in this establishment running it, do not own the place and cannot make unilateral decisions about customer service or refunds. The owner can contact me directly with any questions. The pizza boxes smell like mildew.
I purchased a pizza this afternoon for lunch, by the time I actually got home, I noticed that the whole interior of my car cabin smelt like an old wet basement.
The boxes definitely had some type of moisture or water damage that they were trying to dry out by the oven.
The pizza definitely smelled.
I threw half of the pizza away. I called the store to let them know.
" Hi, I wanted to give you the heads app that I purchase from you all of the time and there's something definitely wrong with your pizza boxes today. They smell like mildew, and it's making the pizzas impossible to eat, if you deliver in one of your heat packages to a residence, it is going to smell absolutely disgusting by the time that pizza comes out of that box, if you use those boxes. "
The reply " Thanks for letting us know.We just got this delivered this morning.I wonder if something got wet on them. "
Okay, this is where you guys could definitely pick up the ball on customer service.Even if you can't make a lot of decisions with regards to any monetary compensation or refunds to your customers.
I told you that your pizza smells like mildew. I told you it's gonna make someone sick. I told you I had to throw out my pizza.
I didn't ask for a refund, but it would have been nice if y'all had actually attempted to make the situation correct or show a bit of fake empathy or something.
So i'm not asking for anything, i'm just letting everyone know about my experience.

We spent over $80 on dinner tonight. We were really excited to try the new food under new ownership. We LOVE supporting local Glen Rock businesses.
When my husband got home with the food, 2 items were missing, 1 item was wrong.
My husband went back to get the missing items and get a replacement for the item that was wrong. The person that he spoke to (maybe the owner?) told my husband that I ordered the wrong thing. Which is NOT true. I ordered an eggplant parmesan sub for my vegetarian daughter. We were given a chicken parmesan sub. The person at the store did end up giving my husband the eggplant sub but AFTER insisting I had ordered the wrong thing.
AND on top of all of that the Greek Salad was missing the green olives, eggs, croutons, and sundried tomatoes.
Eating out is a treat for our family of 8. We won't be spending money here again.
