One of the best ice creams I have ever had! I had the smores tornado and it was so delicious and was clearly great quality. Dennis and Chris, the owners, are some of the most friendly people I have ever met. They showed me and my friends around the establishment and we even got to check out the drive thru which has an old 1965 looking soda shop recreated inside! The people, ice cream, and atmosphere make me feel right at home here. If you haven't tried their ice cream it is a MUST!! Worth the travel and wait in line (since its that good). Will be coming...

I would take the drive to Oberweis over this. I do believe it is a personal preference though and this is obviously a very popular place for locals. The banana split was Insanely huge! I am just not sure I could get over the texture of the ice cream. Now to be fair, I lost my taste 7 months ago, so my mouth has become texture sensitive!! I am not sure If they serve ice cream or if it is some kind of yogurt, but it was different.
