Walk Er Drive Thru — Restaurant in Sigourney

First I want to say I absolutely love this place and the owner! We drive over an hour to go to Walk'ers every summer and thr food is always amazing, now the reason for 3 stars. We were so excited about being in Sigourney yesterday and being able to visit. We were in a rather large group and my daughter in law has never been so she was excited to try the options as she has heard us brag about this place for years. We had 4 separate orders and it turned into a hot mess. My husband and my sandwiches were made but not the rest of the food. The young lady snatched the sandwiches back and put the bag on the counter where it sat for more than 10 mins while they made the rest of the order. My son and daughter in law got their shake and savage swirl but not their food. My other kids, who showed up after we ordered, got their items and still no food for son and dil, at this point we asked about their food. THEY LOST thier ticket and questioned whether or not they ordered food, stood and went threw the register tape glaring at us made us repeat the order several times and finally made it. Sons sandwich was so soggy it fell apart in his hand trying to eat it. The young ladies were so rude and only the older lady working offered an apology. It was a very disappointing visit. Let's start with the positive: the ice cream products were fantastic! My parents split a tenderloin with fries, and they were very happy. My husband had a nachos, and they were just OK, nothing special. I had a loose meat sandwich. The hamburger crumbles were hard and very overcooked and dried out. We also ordered corn fritters and fried pickles, and neither are good. We will definitely be sticking to fries next time! $53.00 for 4 people is reasonable, but the food quality needs to be much better or remove it from the menu. Hope this helps others make...
