How this place was voted one the best dive bars, when dive is too good of a word for this place. We stopped in over the weekend when in the area, been wanting to try it for a while. Took almost 10 minutes just to get acknowledged when there was 1 other table of 8. The gentleman gave us menus. I asked for a beer..nope they didn't carry it. So I picked another, came back after looking through the stock, nope out of that too. So I asked what did they have, came back with a Bud Light..at this point water worked. It's a classic corner bar : small, darkish, steeped in local history & flavor, food that tastes good but is not exactly good for you and a blind dog named Socks who is welcoming & friendly.
