This place is great! Living in Simsbury and loving Mexican food I was really rooting for a win here as we entered. I gambled on a Mojito and that was a winner. My wife's Margherita was a winner. The Buritto California was a winner. The Mole sauce was a winner. The owner Amy was a winner. She was cruising the dining room checking to make sure everything was great. I was going to actually play it safe and have a Corona, but she encouraged the Mojito which was fantastic. I would almost rather not write this to be selfish and not encourage a future wait time. Wonderful! Recently soft opened in the space that used to be Ana's Kitchen. We went last night (a Friday) near 8pm. First good sign, we needed to wait a bit for 2 spots at the bar. Second good sign-the bar tender/manager was funny, attentive to customers and to ensuring that the staff was doing what they needed to be doing. Last and most importantly, the food was fantastic. It was not the pre-cooked, ready in 5 minutes after you order stuff. My Tacos Burrria were fresh hot with terrific tortillas (I learned later that they were freshly made by an Aunt of the owner). Drinks were made by eye at the bar, good pours and the staff were friendly. Great addition...

We tried the nachos — amazing! The carne asada was really good too. For drinks, we had a frozen mango margarita and a cantarito — both were seriously amazing. We’re Mexican, and this is the first restaurant we’ve tried that feels truly authentic! They make their tortillas by hand, and you can taste the difference.

The place itself is beautiful, very spacious, and perfect for larger parties. The bar area is a great size too. The owners are the sweetest — they make you feel right at home. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for real Mexican food and great...
