Moody's Time Saver — Restaurant in Slidell

They seem to have it listed as a restaurant, when in reality it's a convenience store, but it's the best convenience store!

Their po-boys are excellent and they serve all the Krispy Krunchy chicken items, plus some other things. It stays busy so the food is always fresh, which makes a huge difference.

Their selection of spirits is unbelievable for a convenience store. What's more impressive are their prices. They rival any grocery store and even the larger wine and spirits retailers.

They have a lot of rare bourbon, rye, and cognac if you're into that. Those are the items you will see a substantial markup on, but they're there if you want them. I typically wouldn't buy most of them even at MSRP, but it can be good for a gift or special occasion when you're willing to splurge a bit.

I don't mean to oversell it, and it's still a convenience store, so don't let your expectations get too high. Plus, they could expand their beer selection a bit. But if you like po-boys, fresh fried foods, and spirits, they've got...

Made an error and didn’t add the shrimp poboy, had to go all the way across town to go get it, but that time the oyster poor boy was cold. Wouldn’t even remake it or freshen it up, got home & It was cold & disgusting. Hard 10” bread.when we paid for a 12” oyster dressed for $17. Out of all the places in Slidell we chose your place to come and get lunches and you couldn’t even accommodate us for wasting more than a hour of our time. The owner stated that it cost him $15 to make an oyster poor boy sandwich. He did not care that the customer paid $17 and received less than what we paid for. Cold , hard sandwich it went in the trash.

We will not be coming back if that’s how you treat your long term customers. CUSTOMER SERVICE around this country has been ridiculous! No one cares anymore. Good luck...

Definitely recommend. You can get a list of items from here. Hungry? They make mashed potatoes and gravy, chicken, honey biscuits, and a few other things of that sort. Want a snack? Chips and candy are in arms reach. Need to release stress but don’t smoke weed? They sell alcohol too. Oh and if you need to make a phone call but don’t have a phone, they sell cellphones and chargers too. Need gas for your car? Just pull up to the pump and the gas is right there for you. Parking isn’t the greatest but it’s quick and easy and if you know how to drive you can maneuver around anything.

And the customer service is impeccable. They may be having a rough day but they will still make sure you are having...
