Flame Bistro — Restaurant in Smithfield Township

I came across Flame Bistro in a Facebook post and decided to give it a try while I was in town—so glad I did! It’s conveniently located right on Route 209 with plenty of parking. This new Polish spot serves some truly delicious food. The pickle soup was hands down the best I’ve ever had, and the Polish platter could hold its own against top-tier Polish restaurants. The staff was very friendly, and the cozy, welcoming atmosphere made the meal even better. I really hope this place sticks around—too many great spots on 209 don’t last. My only suggestion to the owners: consider adding Żurek and placki ziemniaczane...

Ugh, I was really hoping someone would take over from Mad Apples and bring back some awesome comfort food, but Flame Bistro totally ruined it. We sat down, and the waitress was right there, super fast. We got smash burgers, but they were just pre made patties. They tasted okay, but like, $17 a burger? I'd rather have just gone to Five Guys. This place is just for tourists, not for anyone who actually wants a good burger. Now grant it, we only had the burgers. They have a few more items and in all fairness we haven't tried them, but why would we if smash...

The decorations are so nice. The atmosphere was great for our family of three. The prices were on par with other reviews. The amount of food is on the larger side. I got the bistro pierogis. I ate them with a little of the their pulled pork. They were delicious on their own though. The meat ones have the pulled pork in them. I highly suggest them. Burger came with two juicy patties. The cole slaw comes on the pulled pork sandwich. The pork isn’t a smokey flavor. Just a nice tang. We don’t live in the area but will suggest this...
