De Petrillo's Pizza & Bakery — Restaurant in Smithfield

I ordered 2 large pizzas this month. The veggie “toppings” are so sparse, it’s insulting to be charged for them! Each veggie was cut into very very small pieces, with single pieces placed/dotted on various spots on pizza, spaced so far apart that not all pizza pieces even had a speck of a veggie on them! Each chopped veggie “topping” piece was just approx. one-half am an inchby a quarter inch. Small! Most ‘lucky’ pizza pieces had just 1-3 small pieces of a vegetable “topping”. Are you going to re-think charging for what you’ve labeled veggie “toppings”?? Makes little sense to continue purchasing your pizzas, given I’ve paid extra money just to have someone in your kitchen, or management, etc, have a laugh, as they knowingly insult the customer, me, while they make $$$$ I...

I would love to give this place 5 stars, because I love pizza strips and pizza chips, but I have been spoiled with actual 5 star pizza strips and chips at D. Palmieri's in Johnston. I thought this pizza was too thick, not cooked enough, and the edges should be crispy. Plus, the "other" place offers strips in any quantity. Even "all ends" if you like. Some of the best sicilian pizza in New England!! Definitely try the pizza chips and get the big box cause they won't survive the trip home without eating them.
