Slice and Scoop Pizza & Ice Cream — Restaurant in Smithfield

The food is okay but way over priced. The staff/service is absolutely egregious. Would recommend just going somewhere else and paying way less for better service.. read on for a more detailed explanation of one of my experiences there.

I called in an order, they said it would be about 15-20 minutes, so I show up in 20. I get there and I talk to the cashier who asks who the pickup order is for, I say my name and then specify again what I ordered. The cashier then doesn't say anything to me and the screen just pops up to pay.. ok I pay and it asks to tip and I tip even though I am just picking up. The cashier then says nothing to me and goes to check some stuff so I figured she was getting my order.. nope she just starts answering calls and continues not saying anything about my order. After a few calls I am just standing there next to the register and she is just standing there so I ask "will my order be a few minutes then" she goes oh who was the order for again (??). So I tell her and she goes back to check on it. I can see her talking to the chefs and they clearly didn't even start my order, and they start working on it. She tells me it will be 4 more minutes. Ok I go and sit down.. 15 minutes later they walk out with a pizza that is not even what I ordered. I tell them and they make me a new one which was that takes another 20 minutes. So I sat there for 40 minutes just waiting to pickup an order because the staff is so incompetent and they did not offer me a discount or the pizza they made incorrectly or my time wasted.

I went about a month ago for an ice cream pizza date..i.will say the pizza was mediocre at best.. I ordered the Bianca Pizza with buffalo chicken added..it was overcooked...messy..lacked flavor..even with the Buffalo sauce ,so I can't imagine it has flavor as just a Bianca... the staff was not really friendly..they looked like they didn't want to work..no greeting..no smiles. . No have a good night... after a disappointing pizza we went to grab some ice cream to go. We waited a whole 5 mins before someone came over, despite there hardly being any customers there. I am not a big icecream eater, but when I do indulge I want it right. So for some reason he made My small Sunday in a drink cup..he started to put toppings on the bottom..I asked why he was starting with the toppings and he stated they put it on the bottom and the.top..interesting..when it came to the ice cream he added way more necessary for a small( though i know others may have appreciated that)..the most disappointing part of all was they didn't have whip cream left..how do you not have any whip cream at an icecream shop...he should have told me when I initially ordered the sundae.even more they could've bought from the market or something..we all know whip cream is a sundae staple...overall service was not great..food is ok at best, but not good enough for me...

In my opinion, this establishment has consistently exceeded my expectations as the most enjoyable place to dine with friends or family. Not only did I receive exceptional customer service, but the premises were clean, well-organized, and inviting. The warm and friendly greetings I received each time I visited made me feel at home and compelled to return. Whenever I required assistance or needed something, the staff was always attentive and helpful. This establishment is the first place that comes to mind when I want to spend time with my loved ones. In my personal experience, I have never felt unwelcome or unwanted here. Instead, I have consistently felt a sense of warmth, friendliness, and courtesy. The staff members may appear busy, but they always prioritize their customers, which is a testament to their dedication. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to my family and friends. While today was my second visit, it will undoubtedly be my last, as I am always captivated by the sense of peace, welcome, and loveliness that envelops me as I enter the establishment. To all employees, I extend my sincere appreciation for your hard work and dedication. Your exceptional efforts have made this place truly remarkable. I eagerly anticipate my next visit for a delightful meal of pizza...
