Del Vecchio's Bakery — Restaurant in Snow Hill

I cannot recommend Del Vecchio’s Bakery enough! This review will be long but after reading it you won’t want to go to any bakery but Del Vecchio’s. I called on a Monday with a unique request. I am a college student that goes to school out-of-state. I knew I would not be able to make it home for my brothers birthday but still wanted him to feel special. I gave Del Vecchio’s a call about possibly delivering cupcakes to him so I could surprise him. Without hesitation they said they could make that work (even though they don’t truly deliver). They made a dozen cupcakes for my brother (the flavor of my choice) and delivered them to him at his school. My brother called to let me know they were the best cupcakes he had ever had and immediately asked where they came from. This shop is adorable and the smells are soooo freaking awesome walking in! Not like- oh this smells nice.... it's more like "OMG what is that AMAZING smell and why do I never want to leave it?!?" lol! It's so dang good! We tried a bit of everything and forgot to try cannolis! Will have to next time we visit Maryland! We ate everything that was recommended to us by the baker and nothing disappointed! Then we got back to family and they had gotten more goods from farmers market, so we got not only all of our treats, but some more awesome stuff at home lol! The cinnamon rolls are the size of a plate! So huge!!! The strawberry upside down cake and danishes, lava cake, some kind of amazing cookie that melted in your mouth.... a gooey and decedent brownie.... We went in May for a Sunday outing. They were actually the first bakery I've been in and they did not disappoint. I wanted to try a cannoli so bad and when I saw that they made them here only 30min from home we hopped in the vehicle and took off. My husband had a cheese Danish which he loved. My cannoli did not disappoint and my daughter inhaled her donut. We will definitely include this in our cheat day outings when we are up that way. Most likely will be in a couple weeks when we go to the MD side of Assateague. Definitely a must try for locals...
