Elliott's Tavern — Restaurant in Snow Hill

I had dinner here with my parents today after we walked through town. First of all our waiter (Cylus?) was super nice. The bad thing was that you can't get anything with crab or tuna right now. Not really their fault. Something about supply problems. The sweet tea was really good cause it wasn't too sweet. I had the shrimp tacos and it was ok. Two soft tacos with 2 pieces of shrimp on each one. The only other thing on the tacos was coleslaw which I don't really like so I just ate the shrimp and dad used the tacos for his flounder cause he said it didn't have any flavor. The fries were really good. Dad really liked his mac & cheese and didn't want to share it with me! I had chocolate pie and it was pretty good. Mom ordered salmon blt and she said it was really good but the roll was too big for the fish. The bathroom was clean and the restaurant was not loud or annoying or anything like that. I would...

My experience is usually pretty good. It appeared they were having computer issues with the POS. The employee(photograph taken, but not shared) was more focused on watching the remote technician work on the system instead of asking if I wanted lunch since I pushed the menu so he could see it. That didn't happen. The food was awesome, tasty, and made within minutes. I still had to wait for the check after asking a few times in which he was still focused on the screen. A very clean and comfortable tavern. Food was excellent, reasonable prices. Not to sure about staffing. One waitress, doing the best she could with the lunch crowd, she was working hard and apologized for the wait to order and again when the food arrived. Table's were not cleaned off, the dishes and glasses were still on the tables long after the customer's left. Maybe a staff issue?
