Ponderosa Cafe — Restaurant in Snowflake

I thought I'd give her one more try...Whoops there I go thinking again ! And yes I ate it hell at 21.00 dollars you would to. I went there to eat breakfast not listen to a Country Western concert the music was so loud you couldn't think. What ever the cook did before he thought he was a cook he should go back to it he might have been better at it! I ordered steak (med cook) and eggs hashbrowns crispy) and sourdough toast and coffee with cream. Coffee was hot ok, I had get up and get napkins. A short time later my order came and the waitress ask if I needed any steak sauce, ketchup, ect and brought me A1. The eggs were fine the hashbrowns were so burnt not crispy (black) and the steak one side was fine the other side was so burnt its a good thing they gave you a saw to cut it with or you just have to pick it up and naw on it, and the toast well it was a little brown on one side...No seasoning on anything I guess that is the new so if you burn everything it adds favor. Oh and the cooks helling out the orders was very annoying and watch out for the cook that thinks he's ZZ TOP the beard hair is long enough you can find it. I try to treat myself once a week to breakfast or dinner I'm single I can. I've been in many of cow and elk camp and have never eaten a raw or burnt steak or over seasoned meal and none of us were self proclaimed chefs. We tried this place for the first time and we won't be back. It was busy on a Sunday morning but no excuse for what happened next. We waited and waited. Finally saw people being served that came in after us. When the waitress went by after 40 minutes, we asked what happened to our order? She apologized and said the kitchen didn't see our order. How can that happen? We should have left at that point but decided to stay. My partner got oatmeal and I got half an order of the biscuit, egg, gravy and bacon bits. My plate might have been good but it arrived cold. I didn't send it back since it had been 50 minutes. Then to top it off, after I paid and was in the car, I noticed the receipt was for someone else's order. I had to go back in, request a refund and get charged for the correct amount. Need less to say we won't be returning. The waitress was nice and apologetic, but she should have noticed sooner that we didn't...

Unfortunately a very disappointing experience again. I always try to give the benefit of the doubt but just too many bad experiences at this point. Ordered the pork green chili breakfast to go which is a normal for us along with the high country breakfast. When I got home I definitely didn't get any type of pork green chili but rather some kind of shredded pork. Additionally the price charged at pickup was not what I was told on the phone as they added a 1.75 charge for a to go order which was nearly a 13% surcharge. This bothers me more than the wrong food as I am bringing in business without taking up an additional table, allowing for you to actually increase revenue with less staff work; but I get upcharged for this because I used the same container you would give to anyone who takes leftovers home?
