Papa Joe says “I love to feed people and make them happy.” This is the absolute truth. Love is the main ingredient, and you can taste it. Everything I have tried has been excellent, and I am always greeted with smiles by Papa Joe and the staff. The food is fresh, and I always get at least 2 meals out of the good-sized portions each time. It is the best Italian food I have found; it is like a home-cooked meal at your extended Italian family member’s home. And what a cute little building. It is so hard to choose a favorite, and it depends on lunch or dinner menu (and availability), but…just a few are the Chicken Piccata, Turkey Provolone, The New Yorker, Chicken Parmesan, lasagna soup (any soup)…and don’t forget the cannoli!

New York Eats & Treats is hands down one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve visited in a long time. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy, inviting atmosphere that feels both authentic and modern.

The menu is a dream for anyone who loves Italian cuisine — each dish is clearly made with care, fresh ingredients, and a passion for flavor. The pasta is perfectly cooked, the sauces are rich and well-balanced, and the portions are generous without being overwhelming. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic like meatballs or a more unique house special, you won’t be disappointed.

The service is just as excellent as the food. The staff are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and ensuring every detail of your experience is perfect.

Don’t skip dessert — the tiramisu and cannoli are absolutely divine! But the cheesecake is a must!

If you’re looking for a place that delivers consistently delicious Italian food in a welcoming setting, New York Eats & Treats should be at the top of your list. A must-visit for locals and...

We stopped by intending to have dinner, but when we saw the menu pricing we just grabbed a slice of cheesecake. I don't know what a place serving food on plastic plates with napkin dispensers and plastic cups is doing charging $22 to $24 per entree. Those are fine-dining prices. The cheesecake tasted good but the coffee was...
