Food 5/5

The Ranch House burger presents a unique challenge, even to the most experienced burger enthusiast! How does one attack this monstrosity? Do I squish it flat? Eat with a fork and knife? Chisel away in a futile effort to consume top and bottom bun at the same rate? The Ranch House delivers a burger piled high with lettuce, tomato, and toasted bun hugging a full pound of American beef grilled to spiced perfection! The burger is flanked by fries... but these aren't any regular fries! Idaho's finest spuds sliced and fried to crisped perfection! Yes these fries are truly a feat of culinary engineering and a delight to the taste buds... Yes this burger is indeed a marvel, a feat, and a challenge, an explosion of flavor! The juice will run to your elbows as you enjoy Snowville's finest!

Service 5/5 When you enter the ranch house you are promptly greeted by the loveliest lady you ever saw. Within seconds of arriving a delightful menu is laid before you. Filled with all the best food imaginable. Only a minute later a carbonated delight iced to perfcetion makes it's appearance! Armed with fork and knife... Driven by an empty stomach... And with a ready supply of napkins at hand that prompt and attentive waitress comes to make your wildest food dreams come true. Throughout the meal these fine folks remain attentive refilling that frothy glass and ensuring your dining experience lacks nothing. When you have made your best efforts to finish that burger and cleaned yourself with napkins they will send you down the road stuffed to the brim!

Atmosphere 5/5 Going inside you are transported to a simpler time... Wildlife mounts adorn the walls. Saddles stand at the ready... A true old west experice!

Thank you all! I'll be...

Me and my 3 friends were on the way back from lava hot springs and one of my friends convinced us to go here and said it was some of the best food he’s ever had. Eventually I caved in (as I was the driver), it was about a 45 minute detour. The entire ride I was just thinking about how I could’ve been home 45 mins earlier but let me tell you, that was the most holy experience I’ve ever had. I even saw my friend who shows little emotion start crying at the taste of the San Juan sandwich. I couldn’t wait to sink my teeth into this beautifully crafted piece of food, and my expectations weren’t just met they were completely abominated like Pompeii in 79 A.D. I assumed this place would be pretty good but words can’t even describe how amazing it was. I genuinely think I might get depression from never being able to taste anything this good again. I will forever hold my friend who convinced us to go here in my heart because I don’t think anything will ever beat this experience. I will spend my entire life trying to find something to make me feel this happy again, thank...

I went to the Ranch House to see if it was as good as the Reviews and to see if the Cashier at the Gas Station was correct. I had the Dinner Night Special Hamburger Steak to be a Test! Well it was disappointing as any meal I have ever had. The salad started the downhill. It wasn't fresh, had been sitting in the Refrigerator too long, wilted/too much core lettuce, a couple of cucumbers and a tomato slice! Oh well picked out the bad and ate it. Then the Special arrives! It was a frozen half pound hamburger pattie! Hamburger steak is fresh ground sirloin beef, patted snd grilled! Ordered medium rare to medium and came overcooked to get all the frozen out of it!! The green beens were good along with the mashed potatoes! Thank God for Gravy to choke the patty down! The fresh roll wasn't warm and the butter cold. The sweet tea was good; except a tad strong! I'm from the South and know what sweet tea is! For $12.95 plus tea & tip leaves a bad taste of a $20 hamburger patty without the bun!! I'd say the Cashier was right! I'll...

I am a sucker for small businesses. This one blew me away with their open arms and big hearts. I was driving from Oregon to Utah and was desperately trying to find a restaurant that had Thanksgiving dinner available for me to take to my dad, who I'm visiting. No one was available except you. Not only that, BUT this place makes Thanskgiving meals and hands them out to people every year! They wouldn't even let me pay. Thank you so much for your delicious food and for opening your doors when your sign said, "Closed." (It was early) This family restaurant was lovely inside. All the family members preparing the meal were delightful and very welcoming. My father and I graciously say "Thank you" from the bottom of our hearts. Your kindness today went so far, you have no idea. Happy Thanksgiving. - Leslie

I've been trying to get back here for years now and always seem to miss it while its open. My experience here years ago was definitely 5-stars. Unfortunately this time around I can only give 4. The food is still good, but not quite as good as my first visit. The service was excellent and our server definitely stayed ontop of taking care of all the tables in the restaurant including us, that can't be an easy task to accomplish. I was thrilled that she brewed fresh coffee for me and neither myself or my partner had any issues with the service, I definitely will continue to stop here any opportunity I get. Also, don't forget to pull the doors on the little outhouses open, they have a suprise about each and every one of them.

Unfortunately without any doubt some people depend on complaining and being embittered ( most of the time at the expense of others ) in order to feel some semblance of happiness. This I say regarding most of those people who have given this restaurant a negative rating. Just had "probably the best and leanest Sirloin I've ever had. I'm an Ribeye and NewYork strip guy but I must admit this Sirloin should be on any menu. Regarding the service impeccable under the circumstances (one waitress for many tables). Incase you wonder why I'll enlighten you.....177 souls in this town not a very big work pool........Oh!!!! Bytheway, hot bread and butter...real butter not MARGARINE. If driving thru give a world.
