Tacos "El Güero" de Culiacán — Restaurant in Socorro

Visited this place 8/18/19.

The food - my table ordered the pastor tacos, steak tacos and a steak plate. The tacos were dry and overcooked. The steak plate was missing the hot link that came with the plate. The tostadas tasted like they were exposed to the air for a long period; chewy.

The service - The place is new so the waitresses don't know the menu yet and they are understaffed. Several times our waitress had to ask inside the kitchen for specifics. The food took longer than it should. Many people left without ordering because the wait just to get your order was long. The manager did compensate us for the wait and the missing items in our order.

I heard the place was good but the person that told me about it visited the place during the week, when it's less busy.

La comida - mi mesa pidió los tacos de pastor, tacos de carne a la parrilla y un corte de carne. Los tacos estaban secos y recocidos. Al corte de carne le faltaban las salchichas calientes que venía con el plato. Las tostadas sabían correosas.

El servicio: el lugar es nuevo, por lo que las meseras aún no conocen el menú y el lugar no tiene suficiente personal. Varias veces nuestra mesera tuvo que preguntar dentro de la cocina por detalles. La comida tardó más de lo que debería. Muchas personas se fueron sin hacer un pedido porque la espera para recibir su pedido fue larga. El gerente nos compensó por la espera y los artículos faltantes en nuestro pedido.

After our trip to the zoo we decided to look up best birria tacos in el paso it popped this place out. The reviews were great so we decided to GPS it. When we got their the place looked really awesome, the decor was amazing, and was the place was really clean. The waitress had great attitude and a great personality. My wife ordered tacos de Alambre and I got their tacos de birria, for our drinks we got a pitcher of agua de melon and horchata. The aguas frescas were amazing you can taste the Melon and the horchata had the most amazing taste ever. Our food came out pretty quick and it was hot and fresh. Now I've had birria before in El Paso and let me tell you this birria was not in the top in crunchy and cheesy. The flavor was good but not great and the the tacos were really greasy and kind of soggy. My wife's tacos needed a lil more flavor and they also kind of greasy. But over all not in the top ten for birria in my books. Maybe it was just the cook that was cooking that day but I definitely didnt feel his love...

I seriously was excited to go to this place after seeing some facebook posts about how good the food was and to my surprise this place has very bad service I went to get the quesobirra tacos and Bam they didn't have any so I was hesitant to stay but I did because my family was with me and hungry so I ordered a parria for 2 and for the most part other than being super salty it was decent Toro bronco is the place to go for parrias and still is after this place so then I ask for a limonada for my son and again they don't have any seems that everything we ask for was not there I can understand hey things happen but this was on a Monday at 5pm for dinner how can you run a business this way advertise something you don't have but the final draw was when I was checking out the waitresses all seemed to not care to charge me I stood at the cashier area for 15mins and after my waitress told another girl to charge me she acted like she was doing me a favor so bottom line ask before you order and don't expect good service...
