El Sol Mexican Cuisine — Restaurant in Solon

I heard a lot of great reviews and went there for Valentines Day very excited! First it took way to long to get our order in I suppose it was pretty busy. Once we did get our order in the food came quick. I thought our meal was just "ok". the sauce on my enchilada was a bit bitter tasting to me, and my pork Tamale was disappointing. Now we were there for Happy hour and got the 2 for 1 marg. As excited as we were to get this deal we could taste no alcohol. We ordered a separate shot to get a buzz instead. Amazing food and loveeeeable atmosphere, all the waiters super nice and friendly, not awkward whatsoever. They had live music (special occasion I think) and it added a nice touch. Went at around 6:30 and it was packed then went back at around 7:30 and they had tables. Food was AMAZING. I had the tacos 🌮 with the side of rice and beans and the pork was super juicy and the tortillas really nice. El Sol is my favorite restaurant, hands down. It may be small, but their food is Always the best, I’ve never had a bad meal here nor bad service. Very friendly staff, always smiling and happy to help and are great with our small children. They have the best Tacos Al Pastor dish, their salsa is soooo good, authentic dishes, and amazing flavors.
