Hungry Howie's Pizza — Restaurant in South Bend

Terrible experience, ordered 2 pizzas, flat bread, Howie bread and salad for delivery. 1 pizza, Howie bread and salad were delivered. Called to speak about our order and first employee argues with us that everything was delivered. Then argued that they were not going to redeliver. Second employee got on and argued the same issues. He said they were just going to deliver the flat bread. We had him ask the delivery, who confirmed he only delivered 1 pizza. The "manager" continued to argue that they delivered everything. When we asked for his name he stated "why would you need my name" then would not provide his name. Finally agreed to send us are pizzas, stated he couldn't tell us how long but probably be another 45 minutes. 2.5 hours later the pizzas showed up with just a" Sorry for the inconvenience" from the teenage driver. The worst customer service I've ever experienced, and I worked in restaurant industry...

This place is always, always on point. No matter when I call, I'm always greeted with excellent customer service. They have gotten my order wrong twice for black olives on a salad - I am easily classified as a demon customer for how angry I get at this. But every time I call, someone is always there to listen and apologize and make it right. I cannot stay mad at a place that recognizes their mistake and fixes it with no attitude. Too many places act like it is your fault the order is wrong.

Pizza is always hot and delicious. Salad is always fresh (even when they have disgusting olives). I can't emphasize enough how great the staff are. The pizza here is pretty good. the cheese has this very satisfying gooeyness to it, especially if you opt for extra. You can also get a variety of flavored crusts which is cool. My ex wife loves this place, but we wouldn't get it all that often because it is on the opposite side of town as we are. Also, they never really have any good specials. This is my one complaint about the place. If I am going to get my pizza from a chain (they're the only one in town, but still a chain), then I expect an excellent price.
