Taco Bell — Restaurant in South Bend

As a Commercial truck driver, I parked across the street at one of the TWO Truck Stops, and walked over to the Taco Bell. I understand with the Covid issue, most FF restaurants are drive through and TAKE OUT. One Cannot drive an 18-Wheeler Through the Taco Bell Drive Through. I Politely asked if they could take my cash, take my order and I'll wait Outside the door. (I've been welcome to do this at other Taco Bell locations). I was told No, and that I would have to go through the Drive Through. I explained that option was not available to me and that I was paying CASH. Without Apologizing, he said he would NOT take my order. (Seriously??) I explained that I knew exactly what items I wanted, I wasn't trying to enter, that I would wait outside for my order if he would just take the cash and my order. He says No, Only Drive Through orders only. There were 8 to 10 cars in line. I ask him, "Do you want me to Stand in line with the cars?" He told me no, I couldn't do that either, and was just Very Rude and Condescending. I was literally being told, "Your out of luck, we will Not serve you with your cash." I interpret this as "Oh, your a hungry Truck Driver? Gee, Sucks to be You! Now Go Away"! This while across the street from TWO...

Absolutely the worst Taco Bell I have ever encountered. They don't open until 0900 and claim to serve Breakfast. I have run into issues with this location multiple times at 1000 and sometimes even later with employees claiming that their system is updating and they cannot take orders. Employees also claiming they are the only ones currently there and therefore cannot take orders. Food orders incorrect and often Cinnabuns uncooked and partially frozen. Breakfast menus not posted. I was even told one of the few times I didn't hear that "We cannot take orders our system is updating" that they couldn't make something because now they were out of hashbrowns. It seems like they do everything in their power to avoid actually serving breakfast. Most of these problems I have encountered in the morning obviously. It is now too frequent to be the abnormal and their lack of service a constant enough for me to know not to waste my time and just go to one of the two gas stations nearby. I work in the area and this is the only Restaurant close by allegedly open in the morning. I just wish Chivos or El Alerro was...

My mom went to the drive thru, same way she always does. Taco bell WAS our go to place. But when placing the order today she was talking very slow, and over pronouncing her words. She has had strokes. I was on speaker phone (because I was telling her my order) and all of a sudden there was a lady getting upset with my mom for how she was talking. I thought it was strange that someone would just jump in like that over someone just placing an order-but then I realized they were offended by the way my mom was talking to them. Iguess my mom was making them feel dumb...... I tried to let the lady know I was sorry for how it sounded and that she wasn't trying to be rude, but the staff would not let go. Just continued to be rude and stated that she needed to "protect" her staff from people talking to them like they are stupid. Thank you taco bell for "protecting" your employees and leaving the customer to feel...
