I went to Wendy's, Cranbury, NJ, in the evening and found the doors to be LOCKED. I walked to the drive up window and they told me that on rare instances they do that if they are shorthanded. Months later I went to this Wendy's, I ordered, and I sat down to eat. It was still early enough in the evening that there was still some sunlight outside. Inside the store, I watched a manager LOCK the side doors. Then I watched as 3 different customers tried to open one of the LOCKED side doors to get in. Of course none of them could get in! When I asked one of the employees why they were doing LOCKING UP so early, as it looked to me like they had at least 4 employees, but more likely 5 employees. Additionally, I was the ONLY one sitting in the restaurant and there was no one on line in the restaurant ordering food. Here is response I received from an employee: I was told that I could contact the corporate office phone number, if I wanted. OK, fine, so when I called corporate, they told me that each franchise can do whatever they want. Don't these people want to make money? I mean most business want these things called CUSTOMERS!!! On top of everything else, my French fries were cold and soggy. I will not waste my time and gas money to take the chance to go back...
Read moreWe to the location for breakfast around 10am. My intention were to dine in. But the front door was locked even though the hours of operation sign said the dining room is open at 9/10am I believe. So I had no choice but to get back in my car and go through drive thru. The wait was ridiculous for a drive thru order . However, I ordered a 2 large breakfast combo (honey butter chicken biscuit w. large wedges and Lg Oj). After waiting about 10 mins for my order at the window- I checked my bag to makes sure everything was right and I ended up receiving size small wedges. So I had to wait another 10 mins just to get it fix . The lady that took my order was super nice and apologetic. Furthermore, as I’m eating my Chx sandwich It had a weird undone taste to it. So I start to examine my sandwich and come to realization that the sandwich wasn’t even cooked. Then they gave me roll bread instead of biscuit. At this point I’m very DISGUSTED by what I received and later suffered from a stomach ache and diarrhea. I will never come here again . And honestly don’t want to eat from any Wendy’s...
Read more1 star but I'd rate lower if I could. I went there at about 9:20pm. This location has a problem with wait times, especially during night hours. Tonight I pull up to the drive through and saw people leaving before even ordering. But I figured I'd give it a shot anyway. After about 10 minutes I get up to the ordering screen and sit for about 10 minutes before I ask "hello, anybody there". I get a snarky reply "Hold on". I'm thinking, that's kind of rude, no "please" or "thank you for waiting". But I politely say, "no problem, just let me know when you're ready". So I wait another 5-10 minutes before I ask "not to be rude, but do you know how much longer it's going to be?" I get no reply, so I wait another few minutes before I say "HELLO?" He continues to ignore me.
I decide that it's not worth it, and I drive off. As I'm pulling away, another vehicle pulls up to the ordering screen and he takes THEIR order immediately. This is far from the first time that I've had to drive off empty handed from the Cranbury location....
