Sorry that you have to leave a star in order to leave a review because they don't even deserve to get even one ..today myself and my 2 daughters and granddaughter went there first all the service was slow and lousy.. my daughters tea tasted like water so the waitress took her cup brought it back and then it just tasted like sugar water ... which my tea was fine so did they give me the last cup of tea....my other daughter ordered a steak so usually the waitress would ask do you need steak sauce well this waitress ant to bright my daughter asked her for some steak sauce and I thought the waitress eyes were going to stick in the back of her head as she rolled them so hard as she was shaking her head as if she didn't like her job and like we should not be asking for anything and never came not once to check to see if we needed drink refills or anything finally I had enough and asked for the owner and no it wasn't Jim ...Jim would have took it more serious in my opinion but any way the owner had about as much of I don't care attitude as his worker did... i finally had enough asked for a box and told him I didn't even feel welcome there and. asked for a box to take my food home to eat in a better atmosphere for the price of what we paid for the food I could have gone anywhere for that price and get the same order and the food and service would have been far better I had went there before and always remember after I order food the reason I haven't been back and to try and see if it was just a bad night but no it's always bad service I am going to have to tell my family if I ever mention eating there again they need to remind me why I don't go there I won't be back ohh I forgot the owner did take $4 dollars and some change off my bill and acted like he didn't even want to do that bless his heart I had the shrimp and grits was the worst plate of shrimp and grits I ever had and I have had them a lot theirs was more like soup in stead of grits it was that runny very...
Read moreStopped by for lunch today with a co-worker. We sat down, were very patient with the waitress and staff as it looked like they were just finishing up a rush. She brought us our water and then said she would be right back to take our order... 30 minutes later we stand up to see if we can place a to-go order - at this point we assumed our waitress just forgot about us. It happens, we get it, and we were not mad at all, just in a rush.
Our waitress saw this and walked over to us & took our order. We sat back down and waited another 30 minutes with still no food. We paid our tab, waited some more, then stood up and waited by the bar for our food (We had to get back to work). It took 3 waitresses to go back and grab our food.
We got back to the office to eat our food, took two bites of my sandwich and realized the turkey was slimy. Co-worker and I were instantly rushing our way to the bathroom getting sick. I do not know if it was just a bad day or what, but what a waste of money and time. The employees were fine. but the food certainly was not okay.

Read moreCalled in an order for pickup. Potato Skins as an app and Shrimp & Grits and Fish & Chips. The entrees "include" the House Salads however, upon opening the to-go boxes...no salads. :( I called back, mainly just to let them know about the oversight. The girl who answered acted confused and said, "I'm going to hand the phone off to my manager." Ok, sure, I replied. When the manager got on the phone, he said "Hello?"...I repeated the issue that I had. He acted nonchalant like, ok...well? Then said, "Do you want to come back and pick them up?". I said, no it's ok...just wanted to make you aware. We love your salads! He never apologized for the incomplete order. Additionally, the fish & chips were very dark and had a bitter aftertaste...a tell-tale sign the the deep fryer oil had not been changed recently. Sad...I've always had a great experience when taking colleagues there and whenever I called-in an order for pickup, until tonight. Maybe they have new staff members in front & back of house but I have to say I was disappointed with the lack of attention to my call in order. Will likely wait awhile before...
