Big "D" Butcher & BBQ — Restaurant in South Carolina

This place is the best! My wife and I no longer buy ANY meat from the actual grocery store. We started solely stocking up here. The quality of all the meats is great. Also, they have a great selection of different cuts that are hard to come by in this area. You always get great customer service and they remember all their regulars. The other great thing about this new location (he used to be downtown) is that he’s got the space to carry a lot more variety of meat so you’ll always have a great selection.

Now for the food because there’s also a barbecue place attached and run by the same owner. That’s the best barbecue in Clinton hands down. It’s everything you could want out of a barbecue joint. Their sauce is made in house, all the meat is fresh, the custom service is great, and most importantly the food is delicious.

Y'all. This is a get off the interstate stop. This place is solid for high quality BBQ and sides. When the chef/owner asks your preference of lean or fat on the brisket, you can tell they know what their doing and care about your experience. The food was clean, not greasy or any appearance of just sitting around be waiting to be served. The taste was just as good.

I would drive a distance to eat the Brisket here! We are traveling through from NC to Georgia off the interstate and we will travel this way again. We got a variety platter to go with Ribs, Brisket, Pork, hash and rice, Cole slaw and baked beans and my husband and I agree everything was very good! My favorite was the Brisket and Pork and the ribs were great too! I am picky with my Brisket. I like it to be moist and have good flavor and this was perfect!
