BIG BOYS BBQ — Restaurant in South Carolina

I can honestly say this is by far my favorite BBQ place anywhere. Everything is always fresh and so good. I get the PigDog. Which starts off with a hotdog bun that is always fresh. Never had a soggy or hard one yet. Then a high quality hotdog cooked perfectly. Topped with a literal mountain of pulled pork that is hands down some of the best I've ever had. And then the sauce, which are homemade and wonderful. You add them on yourself which I love. And can't forget the sides. Personally I choose potato salad and baked beans. Which I usually tend to stay away from when I eat out. I'm kinda picky when it comes to beans and way more so when it comes to potato salad. So glad I decided to give them a try. The beans have great flavor and the potato salad is amazing. As I said earlier, always fresh. Do not miss out and pass up these sides. Now this is just what I prefer but seriously u can't go wrong with anything on the menu. It's all cooked to perfection and so good. I'm always greeted with a smile. They're always friendly and very kind. The inside is unbelievably clean. A lot of times small businesses can be not so clean, this place is definitely not one of those. Even the bathroom looks freshly clean every time. You can see into the kitchen and see your food prepared. One of the cleanest kitchens I think I've ever seen. Prices, don't be put off when u see how reasonable they are. My first time I thought I wasn't going to get enough food when I ordered because the prices were so low. But my gosh, they don't call it Big Boy for nothing. DO NOT be worried about not getting enough food, lol. I promise you will leave full. I wish I could give them 10 stars. I do not know the owners personally. I just really love this place. It's so wonderful to see a small business treat people so good and have such good food. I truly wish the best for them and hope this place stays...

This is a nice new bbq restaurant in Joanna. The ribs were plentiful and fall off the bone tender, smoked just right and had a lot of flavor. The pulled pork also had a great flavor and there was plenty of it, too. Clean place with plenty of room for dining in. Open Thursday - Saturday, 11am to 8pm, which is a nice change for this area. This place is a quaint little place tucked away in the small town of Joanna. The folks there are very nice. The Ribs are so tender that they're falling off the bone and they have the best flavor that I've ever had in this area.
