If you ever find yourself in the charming town of Greer, SC, and have a hankering for ice cream that would make George Washington himself shed a tear of joy, then Dillard’s Farms Ice Cream Parlor is your destination! Let me tell you, this place is a slice of Americana wrapped in a waffle cone.
Walking into Dillard’s Farms is like stepping into a nostalgic 4th of July parade, with the sweet scent of vanilla and chocolate dancing through the air like fireworks on a summer night. The place is so decked out in red, white, and blue, you might think they’ve mistaken the parlor for a flag-waving celebration! It’s a true celebration of everything that makes this country great—good, old-fashioned ice cream.
Now, let’s talk about the ice cream itself. Oh boy, it’s like they’ve figured out how to bottle the essence of happiness and churn it into a creamy, delectable treat. The flavors are as varied as a baseball lineup, from the classic Rocky Road to the more adventurous Salted Caramel Pretzel. My personal favorite? The All-American Apple Pie flavor, which tasted like Grandma’s homemade apple pie had a love affair with a giant scoop of vanilla ice cream.
And don’t get me started on the portions! If you’ve ever dreamed of an ice cream cone so big it feels like you’re holding the Statue of Liberty’s torch, Dillard’s Farms is here to make that dream come true. Each scoop is generous enough to make you question if you’ve just ordered a meal or a small mountain of joy.
The staff here are as friendly as a summer breeze and as helpful as a compass in the wilderness. They’re always ready with a smile and a suggestion for your next ice cream adventure. It’s clear that they take as much pride in their service as they do in their scrumptious treats.
So if you’re looking for a place where you can indulge in some top-notch ice cream while feeling like you’re at a patriotic parade, Dillard’s Farms Ice Cream Parlor is the place to be. It’s a sweet spot where every visit feels like a celebration of all things delicious and distinctly American. Grab your cone and take a bite...
Read moreI actually visited the Fresh Vegetable Building on this particular day, BUT i have also visited the the Ice Cream Parlor with my grandchildren in past summers and they absolutely adored it! My grands were happy so i was as well! The ice cream is homemade. "It's delicious" as grands say. Nice sit down area inside as well! Try it, you'll adore it too! Now back to my visit to the vegetable side. I came home, roasted my veggies, ate half that same day, and the other half the next day! Now you've made me want more. They usually shut down the week after Labor Day, i was told; but they remained open a little longer this year because of the Pandemic. My blessing! You can't go wrong with Dillards Farms. I think they are by far some of the nicest people i've met! The veggies are splendid. I even bought some all natural grape jelly no GMO, and fresh wildflower honey! Great tasting items! Ready to go back for more! Get going, they might be...
Read moreThis was the worst place to go. I came here after going to the waterpark for ice cream for the first time with my family. We spent over 30.00 in ice cream and milk shakes. Well one of the milk shakes had to much milk and it was blended to much took one sip to bring it back and have them remake it not even one min later just to hear. Im sorry we will have to charge u for another milk shake cuz they messed up. Not good service. Well as my family ate their ice cream i sat there and watched cuz i threw the milk shake away and wouldnt spend another penny here. There was no manager on to talk with either. We wont be back. Well i called and talked to Sonia the manager later that night and she said she was sorry and wrote my name down for the next time my family goes there to have two free ice creams or milk shakes of our choice. So i plan on going back now to see if the service is any better and if so...
