I have always been pleased with this location. However, I my last couple of orders have been incorrect. I use the App to order my food from Firehouse, so there is no question the ingredients I do not want or do want. Again, my order was incorrect tonight. I decide, I'm going to call just to let the manager know. I started off very friendly, until the manager on duty (Kayla), decided to inform that SHE made my order and it was not incorrect. She never thought to appologize first, then get into what may have gone wrong. No, she jumped into defense mode and became argumentative. When I tried to explain to get that this was not how a person in a mangagment position should handle a customer complaint, she became even more combative and argumentative with me. Admittingly, my voice was not so soft and sweet anymore since I have someone clearly telling me they did their job right when I'm sitting here looking at it and my order print out... If my sandwich is covered in lettuce and tomato, you did it wrong!! Not to mention, she kept telling me she knew the bread was wrong, which it wasn't, so I finally asked her... So if you knew the bread was wrong, why did you send it down the line and it to the customer. Hey explanation was... She was not at the end of the line. AGAIN, what part of this is she not understanding is ALL wrong. She again just admitted the problem started with her, the manager, because she put it on the wrong bread (which she actually did not do) and then sent it down to the next person to finish the order wrong. Here is the disconnect... This girl/manager was so busy trying to defend that she had done her job right, that she never listened to me to begin with. If she had, she would have know that I never even mentioned the bread, except when she asked what was my order (I said I've Italian on wheat, one on white and one meatball sub). Obviously, I know how oderering works... My receipts are always stamped "Valued Reward Member", we eat from this location often. So to wrap up, after Kayla informed me that she was a good manger 😂😂 and that she WAS about to give me a free sub and remake my order (please believe me, the time of her voice really said... Please let me spit in your food you vile human!!). I told her I didn't want anything for free... and then... Kayla hung up on me. Just like a mature manager does. I called back and spoke to Andrew to ask who Kayla's manager was and I can here the little girl in the background still mad spewing what time Stephanie would be in tomorrow. Here's the rub, a simple appology would have ended the entire phone call, but this little girl was so hell bent to be right, it never crossed her mind. I must say to Firehouse... Look up my account, I eat there a lot. Just to help... My order number was 328923. If Firehouse management reaches out to me properly to show me that they value my business, I'll update my review to reflect that, but if not, we'll never order there again. There are too many businesses that can earn and keep...
Read moreI had been going to the Carolina Forest Firehouse Subs since Dale and his family had opened it. I had not been there for nearly a year. I stopped in yesterday 8/29/19 and noticed right away things were different. When I ordered, I wasn't asked if I wanted to round up, instead I was asked to contribute To an organization. In addition to that she did not ask for my club member number or even if I was a member. I knew right away that this young lady was not trained. Dale's associates were on point and trained very well with their presentation and they all looked sharp. I ordered a large Engineer sandwich combo with a drink and brownie, my total was just under $15. When my sandwich came out the sauteed mushrooms were scarce, the meat was far less than I'm used to and barely covered the whole sandwich. When I finished my meal I felt like I had eaten a size small instead of a large. I addressed the manager and expressed my concerns. He conveyed to me that they are required to weigh the meat. I expressed that I would never eat there again. His response was; "Im sorry you feel that way". He didn't even look at me when he said it. I walked out very disappointed with my meal. I caution anyone who goes to this particular location. I feel that the staff is not organized nor properly trained and it appears that the manager on duty is carrying the whole load instead of overseeing matters. As much as I truly enjoy Firehouse subs and what their mission statement stands for, unfortunately I will never dine at this...
Read moreWent here for the 1st time- like ever on Tuesday February 11th 2025 with my dad for a bite of lunch. This is my first time at a firehouse subs- and it actually reminded me of a quiznos, Except with more community service stuff, like how the mural on the wall shows Myrtle Beach and Conway Firehouse. Walked in, looked at the menu, and decided what i wanted. Love how they have 3 sizes of sandwiches, a 6 inch (Small), a 8 inch(Medium), and a 12 inch (large). They also have lots of choices of bread as well. I decided on the turkey bacon ranch sandwich Medium with white bread. My dad got A Medium Hook And Ladder Sandwich with white bread. We made that a combo with sour cream and onion chips, and a root beer soda. He also ordered for my mom, A Small smokehouse brisket with white bread. She was home. Person making our sandwich was pleasant and very nice. The total for 3 sandwiches was 33.67. Paid via a credit card. The price for the sandwiches, i think is decent considering sometimes 2 subway sandwiches can be above that. Anyways. Our sandwiches we sat down and ate, and enjoyed them! granted i think i like subway a little better, but this sandwich was good, too! Will definitely...
