I visited Franks House of Pizza on 10/7/23 and had an enjoyable experience. I had been here a few times to pick up a Door Dash, but this was the first time eating here myself. I live very close and figured it was time to give this place a try. I ordered two sodas (Starry and Orange), which came in a can, a side of French Fries, a small Hawaiian pizza and a small Steak Alfredo pizza (on the recommendation of the server).
The soft drinks they offered came in cans, which makes sense due to the nature of the restaurant and having a large carry out business. This also cuts down on the cost of having a fountain machine. I did notice they offered cups and ice, but I did not request one.
The fries came out hot and crispy. They were delivered with a cold bottle of ketchup. The server also offered to bring out any other dipping sauces. We asked for ranch. The ranch was served in a single serve cup.
The small pizzas were cut into 4 slices. Both were very tasty. The were served on these plastic pizza trays, which, yes do remind me of the ones used at Chuck-E-Cheese. That was totally fine as they were not hot and there was no risk of burning yourself on pan. Each pizza was served with a pie server so that you can easily serve yourself a slice of pizza.
The pizza was filling as I was able take home 3 slices of the steak one and one slice of the Hawaiian. I was presented with a small, sturdy pizza box for my left overs, which I appreciated.
I will definitely be back as I live less than a few...
Read moreFirst of all, finding this place can be a challenge unless you are a local of Fountain Inn. Next, they need a better sign out or you can pass right by it. Parking is adequate, the building is very old, no comfortable seating and the TV was very loud, restroom has only enough room for one and the door knob almost fell off in my hand, the place does have a buffet if you would like to go that route, I ordered a large w/mushroom-very bland and no spices at all in the sauce, not typical of any good Italian restaurant I have been at, the service was "ok", the only tasteful part of the meal was the draft beer, nice choices there, it was not crowded at lunch, still wondering why they were tucked into such a small place off the beaten track, it is a so-so place and to be honest I would recommend you see the Italian place behind CVS off of Fairview before you go here. I will not be going back here in the...
Read moreI really wanted to like this place, because of the great reviews. I tried this place for the first time... I got there around 1:00p.m. for their buffet. To my astonishment there was nothing on there. There was a tray with maybe three pieces of lukewarm pizza. I was really disappointed. Sat at the only seat by the T.V. There was duct tape covering the rips in the upholstery. Remote controller on the table as I ate. They would bring one pizza out at a time. I'm not a picky eater, so anything was okay for me. Really disappointed.. The pizza tasted okay...nothing that a 5star deserves. I think I only ate one hot pizza they brought out. It was a little better. The lasagna and alfredo were okay. Kinda bland. They didn't use alfredo noodles. Started liking the lasagna, but only okay... Just disappointed. I thought this place would be special and it wasn't. Tea could've been a...
