Habaneros — Restaurant in South Carolina

I happened to be eating at the restaurant at the same time Daniel Quigley the one that gave 1 star just before me! let me start off by saying what a disgrace to know there are people in the world out there like him and the crowd that was with him! I had never experience so much arrogance together at one time. Him and his crowd were complaining about irrelevant stuff, at one point after they had been loud and VERY disrespectful to the waitress a lady in the restaurant stood up and offered to pay for their tab just to get them to shut up and to leave the place! They screamed things at the waitress and got all up on her face saying she was ignorant, in the middle of the restaurant and she had done absolutely nothing wrong. When others in the restaurant stood up for the waitress these crazy individuals began screaming at them too. One of them grabbed a plate and smashed it and broke it on the floor just making a mess for the staff to clean up.

I eat here regularly and love the food, the people are awesome and the atmosphere is phenomenal . These group of people threaten to never come back to the restaurant and I hope they keep their promise, regulars like my self and my family enjoy Habaneros and their staff.

However I just have to say that I feel that the manager should have stepped up to the plate and the minute these disrespectful people began their tantrum and broke their plate and got almost aggressive with people, I feel like he should have called the cops and had them kicked out! Waitress have rights too !!

Update: August 2018 My last 2 carryout orders have been messed up. The first one was that they forgot my chips for the extra chips and cheese and another appetizer thay was the guacamole dip (not sure if chips are supposed to come with that too, but if so, then the chips were forgotten on that as well.) I didnt check before I left because they never mess up, so that was my fault. Still, I called, but the girl didnt offer anything but an apology. This next week (2 days ago) I ordered over the phone, my daughter picked it up and brought it home and again, I was shorted an order of chips and and order if chips and cheese. They were closed after she got home and we had no receipt, so I didnt bother to call the next day. Im not sure when I'll ever order again, but I no longer feel this is a favorite restaurant. End of update. My old comments follow...I love Habaneros! Excellent Mexican food, good service, nice dining room and they have carry out. Every time I order take out, it’s done in 10 mins and tastes fresh...

Disgraceful treatment of regular customers. I can’t imagine more loyal customers than my family. We’ve been coming there for years and they know us by sight. We’ve never complained about a thing in all this time. However today they made an error on my lunch to go order and refused to make it right, insisting on over charging us and withholding some of the food we ordered. You should have scrapped the order and started from scratch. All I wanted was what I ordered. As if after all these years I’m trying to put one over on you. I promise that due to your treatment today you will be losing out on a lot more money than you would have if you had just corrected your mistake. I am so disappointed by your treatment. Your choices today are...
