Icing Ink — Restaurant in South Carolina

I've tried to patronize this "Christian" based business, but I will not be going back. Yesterday the THIRD time that I've come in to make a purchase and was completely ignored by the owner. I think she is the owner, tall Caucasian female with white hair. The first time this happened, I walked in, she was helping and talking to multiple customers (all Caucasian). She did not greet me and didn't even tell me that she would be with me in a moment. The second time it happened, I came in and she was helping another Caucasian lady with children. I stood there for minutes and once again, she never greeted me or let me know she would assist me momentarily. The first two times, a worker in the back just so happened to come out and saw me standing there, apologized and helped me.

Yesterday I walked in. This same lady was sitting at the table with a Caucasian family. She looked at me, turned her head, never spoke or said she would be with me momentarily. Whether she is the owner or not, customer service goes a long way. I walked in today, looked at what treats were present, and then I made the decision to walk out for the last time. She didn't try to stop me. She didn't ask what I was looking for. Nothing.

What's confusing is that when I'm the only customer present, this same lady laughs, talks, and compliments my clothing. Not sure why I can't be greeted or asked to hold when others are present. Very strange.

I dont like leaving bad reviews for companies. I never once left a review, called and complained, or asked for a refund when there have been multiple times I had to throw blondies and cookies in the garbage because they were OLD, HARD, and had a weird taste. I never said a thing and didn't even ask for my money back. I don't care what color a person's skin is or how "unimportant" they look. You NEVER know who you're serving. You NEVER know who is walking into your establishment.

The young girl and other two ladies who are normally in the back have always been super nice to...

So ordered a cake from here for my birthday back in November. The PINK with CHERRIES Hannah Montana cake picture was what was shown to them for INSPIRATION and The other picture was what they gave us at pick up. They also said they could add the cherries to ours (notice the actual one we got that looks nothing like the OG photo does not have that either). I will say the photo below where you see the cake missing is where we tried it and I moved it in the box, so that part was not on them. I just did not have a photo of it before we tasted it. When I tell you the cake was crunchy from being dry. Never experienced that while trying a cake before. Very disappointing. Not edible. We ended up having to throw it away. Don’t order heart shaped cake from here. This was a joke. Walmart now sells heart shaped cakes under $20 that are 10x better than this. I am thinking they may have forgotten they had this order? It was placed a week prior and day of pick up, we called to ask if it was ready and the lady on the phone didn’t even know about it. So my guess is they threw this together last minute. The staff is friendly. Just was not a pleasant...

We ordered a cake in Dec and again in January. Same cake- 2 different prices. When we asked why, a lady came from the back and was very sarcastic and ugly. I asked when I called and placed the order, and when I picked it up it was almost 20.00 more than was quoted because they iced the cake! They charged us to put icing on the cake!. I just wanted to know what the difference was and she replied in such a nasty tone- I’m surprised there is any repeat business if you let this woman handle your Customer Service! When we cut the cake and passed it out, it was supposed to be chocolate but the color of cake was sand… not chocolate! And it didn’t taste like chocolate cake either! Will never order anything from here again and neither will any of our friends...
