Oliver's Restaurant — Restaurant in South Carolina

I used to love Oliver's, praise them. Send people there to eat always. I have always lived nearby and have frequented that place more than I could count. But things have just been going downhill. The burgers have become smaller and way too expensive. My orders are usually never wrong but the last couple of times I have gone I paid and got things I didn't order and my hot dogs were not made correctly. But I do understand mistakes happen so that is not really that big of a deal.

The biggest reason I am not happy with Oliver's is because they are charging 4% just to use a credit/debit card. We live in an age where no one carries cash anymore and they use their card frequently and they are profiting by doing this. We usually come once or twice a month at my office and place a big order. 4% really adds up when you have a large order. People no longer want to order there for this very reason. I love to support local businesses, but I think that this is wrong. You have accepted cards as long as I can remember and never charged extra for doing so. Prices are already high enough now, and you charge your loyal customers more to eat there. You should really reconsider this practice if you want to continue to keep...

Okay, Sooooo I'm embarrassed to tell you that I messed up.🙄😶😣😫 I've lived in the vicinity of Oliver's Restaurant for 15yrs....passed by Oliver's restaurant often...Google'd local Breakfast restaurants & Oliver's came up in my search several times but STILL had NEVER gone to Oliver's restaurant until Fri 7/15/22 when an acquaintance recommended that we go there for Breakfast.🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️ Let me tell you....This restaurant is very large on the inside & it is Sooooo CLEAN, you can eat off the floors!🤗🤗🤗👍👍👍...After going here, you'll gauge a lot of restaurants differently and decide to go elsewhere based on their cleanliness. The place is very open, so you can clearly see their grill area & behind that area & it is OSHA clean!😁😁😁👍👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Now, down to the food. When I try NEW restaurants, I like to keep it simple, so I ordered a BLT sandwich w/extra bacon. I ordered it with lite mayo but when it came to the table, it was TOASTED just right with lite mayo, Hotttt & with Sooooo much bacon on top of med thick tomatoes🤤🤤🤤🤤.....My BLT was Perfect & made with so much LOVE! It was truly the Best BLT I've EVER...

Keep it simple. Established in 1964 this no frills, local diner has been serving the community by the Oliver family for four generations. Open for breakfast and lunch serving up breakfast sandwiches/specials and lunch fresh ground never frozen hand patty burgers/cheeseburgers, made from scratch BBQ, chili, sausage dogs, fried bologna, pork chop, fresh chicken breast, steak sandwiches and fries. Order counter, drink station and durable laminated contour booths bolted in the center. A simple cheeseburger combo comes with a thick, juicy burger with a few toppings but most extra fixin’s do come at a cost but still reasonable priced. “All the way” comes with chili, onions and mustard. A good serving of thicker fries and a drink round out the combo. The ladies behind the counter were personable and prompt with our order. Lunch was quickly filling up the tables as the locals and regulars knew where to find...
