The Dirty Armadillo — Restaurant in South Carolina

We have been waiting on this place to open for SO long. What an epic disappointment. So, out of the gate, the bar stools are crazy uncomfortable for anyone over 120lbs. They weren't that busy but it still took quite a while to greet us, even though we were right in the middle of the bar. We ordered 2 burgers. Probably the worst burgers I have had in the area. The grill guy didn't bother to press the burgers, so we got 2 EXTRA well done meatballs that covered about half the bun instead of medium and a medium well burgers like we ordered. The bacon was beyond burnt, and the chili I added to my burger tasted like it might have been good 2 days ago, but now was just dry chili chunks sprinkle on my burger that looked like he put the cheese on it before he forgot about it. I might have told someone... buuuut no one bothered to check on us. The owner was DJing, the bartender with cat ears was dancing and floating around the floor, the older gentleman bartender just seemed overwhelmed. I only gave them 2 stars because they have pool tables and a dance floor. Will not be back for the food. MAY come back...

Don't go to eat or have a drink just have bottled beer. The food just sucks. Out of 5 appetizers we ordered, they only had one Which was tater tots. Which came out very Brown because it looks like the oil, hasn't been changed or cleaned for the past month. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger medium can't make it any easier. It took them 2 hours to get me the burger, and then it came out with no bacon. Then when I try to eat the burger it was so cooked,I was unable to bite into it.It must have been on the grill for the two hours I was waiting for it. As for the drinks, the mixed drinks are so watered down. You have to order an extra shot. Just to taste any alcohol in your drink. I think they were just rinsing the glass with the vodka and using the left over for the next drink. TV's are to small to see well they are 50 feet over your head. So do yourself a favor and go a little further down and go to Coopers. Great food,good drinks and great service with a smiles. I was at the dirty armadilla, on July 29th for the first and last time. It is a shame because I can walk to it. IT SUCKS...

I went there to enjoy some karaoke. Was there at the start. Which I was told later by the DJ was the right time to come. I wondered why folks were leaving after one or two songs. ( running the business out the door instead of in ). Although the people who came at seven to patronize the armadillo. It was time to cater to her patios crew. At least six folks came in and were immediately put in the rotation one right after the other. None of them making any purchase. I know where I won't be singing karaoke!!! The DJ said that her Patios crew is here now. So I was to make room for everyone of them. I was there from the beginning and drinking crown. They bought one coke. Who is running the business. The people that came at seven all left. DJ said: I will reiterate, " her patios crew is here ". WTH, The Dirty Armadillo crew was already there. Again everyone that came for karaoke at seven left. It is all good there is a lot better places for karaoke like...
