I arrived two hours early in Summerville, SC for a baby shower. I was hungry and looked for a nearby restaurant to get some lunch. I ordered the shrimp hibachi and my daughter ordered the shrimp lo mein. The restaurant was well lit and clean. The shrimp hibachi was good but I’ve had some hibachi from Tokyo Grill that taste better. The rice was supposed to be fried, but it looked and tasted like it was steamed. I’m used to the meat and vegetables being poured on top of the rice instead of it being plated side by side. The white sauce was also runny instead of creamy. My daughter took a few bites of her shrimp lo mein, then took it to go. The lo mein had a lot of large chopped onion pieces, which made it harder to eat because it was a lot of raw onion. I prefer the onions to be cooked a little more.

My favorite thing about eating at The Taste Asian Bistro was the water! I had three cups of their water. I water was super crisp and fresh! I don’t know what kind of water filter or machine they have but the is unlike any water I’ve had before. Even the waitress said their had been several customers in the past that have commented on the water.

Overall, the food was decent. If you are looking for authentic Asian food, this is probably not the place. If you just want some generic Asian food, I’d say, go for but. The food presentation was okay. It would take a lot to get me to come back here. Besides the great waitress and crisp water, I didn’t eat anything...

Seeing as my review was somehow deleted here, I will write it again. We, my wife and I, have been coming here for over 30 years. Loyal customers. We went there 2 weeks ago and now will never ever return. We ordered simple. Two double cheeseburgers with a little extra mustard and ketchup and two fries. We were the only people in line, and when we got to the window to pay, my wife wanted to add a simple zebra cone to the order, again, no one in line or in the drive through. They told us to go back through the drive through after we get our order to order the cone. That alone is ridiculous. But what was worse were the burgers. They put so much mustard and ketchup on them that they were soaked from the top of the bun to the bottom, just swimming in the stuff. Could not eat them. And then when we called, the so called manager, a kid, gave us a hard time, even though it was there fault. After that event, along with many others similar, we will never go back, and that's our whole family. Over 30 years of going there and 17 of us will never ever go back because of this incident. Good job y'all, you just lost 17 customers that have been loyal to you for over 30 years, good...

We have been coming here since 2015, so around 7 years. A couple weeks ago when me and my family were eating food my kids and I didn’t find the food to be very flavorful, so it was bland. We then called them after we ate and told them about the food not being good. The owner picked up the phone and told us that they can give us store credit for the food not being good. Keep in mind we didn’t ask for store credit. After a couple of weeks my kids wanted to eat here, so I called them. The manager picked up the phone and then told us while we were ordering that she didn’t want to cook our food because we didn’t like the food last time. She then put the phone on the side while we were trying to ask her why. I found this really sad because I was coming here for 7 years and just because we didn’t like the food once they weren’t going to cook for us. I own a business myself and this is the opposite of good customer service. Overall, this place used to be good, but now this place is getting overpriced and the customer service is turning worse day by day. I would not recommend this place for anyone because they cannot take any type of...

The food is rotten and rancid. The few bites I had made me sickened and nauseous.Don’t judge a book by its cover. New building, clean looking dining room and bar. Front of house smells like the food should be good, but it’s disgusting. You don’t have to be from the low country to know that shrimp đŸ€ shouldn’t look this rotten, and pork is usually Not grey and mushy. Few people in the dining room and one server should have been a đŸš© flag yet the new building wooed me into a false sense of security. This will be my LAST visit to this business and if you come here Please inspect and taste any food that you consume or consider feeding to your family never mind to your children đŸš©đŸš©!Back on the search for a clean restaurant with decent service and fresh, delicious food. It’s Not Here! And a Dern shame too.

The Mongolian beef was absolutely divine! The tender slices of beef were perfectly cooked, coated in a rich, savory sauce with just the right balance of sweetness and a hint of spice. The dish was complemented by crisp, fresh vegetables that added a delightful crunch. Each bite was bursting with flavor and had me craving more. The spicy tuna potato roll was a creative and delicious surprise! The crispy potato exterior paired beautifully with the fresh, spicy tuna inside. The balance of textures—crispy, creamy, and smooth—was spot on, and the heat from the tuna added a kick that elevated the roll. It was truly a unique and mouthwatering experience. Highly recommend both dishes for an unforgettable meal!
