Tigerville Cafe — Restaurant in South Carolina

Used to go here all the time but lately they have been slipping. Went about two months ago and we ordered what we always order. Two hotdogs all the way, then a double hotdog plate no onions. A plate around here always comes with fries and slaw unless you request all fries. Right? Wrong, we got two hotdogs all the way and two no onions. The waitress argued with me and said I ordered wrong even though my husband was right there and heard what I ordered and even the nice gentleman cook said that’s what he thought I ordered but he only made what was wrote down. So then I had hot fries with cold hotdogs. Said I wasn’t going back then, but as we were out and about today, I told my husband, they go through staff so often, let’s try again and maybe they get it right. lol, jokes on me….. we ordered three hotdogs all the way with the double hotdog PLATE no onions……. After waiting 30+ minutes, my husband finally came out with no SLAW….. and when I went back in and asked could I get my slaw, the girl at the register was awesome and so polite! But the two cook girls was no where to be seen, the poor little cashier looked so sad when she had to go find them.And, when we finally got home my fries were under cooked. I am serve safe certified and I know you are supposed to check temps, but that doesn’t happen here. Guess that’s why we waited 30+ minutes for five hotdogs and fries....

Your Facebook page doesn't allow reviews. Picked up lunch today, got home and found out that the burgers didn't have cole slaw in the box even though the menu said it was included.

Called to explain and the manager said that they HAD put it in the boxes but if I would like to leave my name and number they would give me a couple Cole slaw free next time. I explained that the cafe is not close to me and I may get there twice a year, and asked if they could do something else to make it right.

The lady hung up on me.

Let me also say that the sweet potato fries were tough, chewy, and tasteless. Also describing the size of the kids burger and chicken tenders as tiny would...

Great locally owned restaurants with very reasonable prices. Service is fast and despite being small but often full of locals, the food comes out quickly and you never see the bottom of your cup. I especially enjoy the omelets for breakfast....lots of food for the money and prepared fresh. Sometimes they have egg rolls and they are homemade and a reminder of the previous owner from years ago that served Thai... otherwise the menu is very well prepared country cooking.....like eating...
