Waffle House — Restaurant in South Carolina

My husband waited PATIENTLY for over 45 mins to place an order to pick up for myself-we are expecting our 1st child in approximately 6 weeks- and himself (starting at 9:25am on a Sunday morning-when locally most ppl are attending church). After all this RUDENESS, he decided to just drive 2 the same location (Whitehorse Rd. In Gville, S.C.). Once in the restaurant, he watched as the “server” hung up the phone —ON HIM! He had kept the call going to track how long they had the audacity to make us wait to place our order! It can be proven with screenshots!

Even in person he was made to wait almost 20 mins to place the same carry-out order for us!!!!

Beyond UNACCEPTABLE/RUDE/DISRESPECTFUL AND MUCH MORE!!!

We will NEVER waste our $$$ or time with this restaurant again! We have been regulars for years!!!

My suggestion is Call Huddle House or enjoy Cracker Barrel!

Again, my husband is the kindest and most authentic man & customer I have ever known.

The food was good. The service not so much . The cook was friendly, no service , the server was kind of rude. The other server stayed on the phone pretending she didn't even see us or hear us & the other girl there stayed in back with the other two servers. One left leaving us to choke down our food with no drink refill. They never checked on us to see if we needed anything. When we tried to ask for help we were ignored as if they couldn't hear us. They could clearly hear us they only had our table & two others & one at the counter so not busy.Then when we got to the register the cook was the only one doing anything & we waited to even check out for over 25 minutes with the other servers in the back looking out the little window from the office & they were smiling & laughing for some reason while we waited, if it wasn't against the law we have only paid half the bill for the food & terrible service we got. I’m not from here but this week my family and I was craving for the Waffle House and decided to come here. The staff was very professional and amazing, but I had to keep repeating my order several times I let it slide when our family Dine in, but once I have ordered one for to go for my mother I pacifically order a patty melt combo with hashbrowns with everything (tomatoes, onions,& Mushrooms )on it and chili. I (I looked twice in the bag ) but did not check my plate where I supposed to have mushrooms, onion, and tomatoes with chili once I gave it to my mom it was just plain hashbrowns And bacon on the patty melt when I asked for no bacon....
