
Came here on a Monday after seeing an IG live , was pleasantly surprised that instead of chips and salsa the waitresses brought us a chicken Fideo soup to snack on while we waited for our food. Ordered the menudo, it was ok, no pata no hominy, just meat. The huevos rancheros were not that great, very basic. This location looks like it can get poppin but nothing was so amazing that I make it a “must” return. Read moreThe carnitas here are truly the best in the San Gabriel Valley. The Surtido (mixed carnitas) are stupidly delicious in tacos and tortas and will blow your mind. I always order by the pound and take home to feed the family--who are always ecstatic to eat from here.
The place is smack in the middle of a large industrial area and is a famous lunch spot for workers. The property is small but very clean and the service is fantastic.

I believe people come here more for the atmosphere, the music and have a drink to get distracted a while. Musicians are not all great all the time.
