The third and last time. Yesterday, 11/5/2022 a short guy named Marco took me and my husband's order. He took forever just to take our order. In the sense that when I was saying the order he couldn't follow it. He kept asking questions about the order but I have already said. Part of the order was "2 grande caramel burlee lattes with coconut milk. Both of them hot. Please.". He asked what size? You want it hot or cold?
Then I asked for a cranberry bliss bar and he said "oh there are some in the front." He was pointing at a shelf. I said "huh they are supposed to be cold why would they be on the shelf?" He lifted himself up on the counter and said "I thought I saw them there". I asked him "well is there anyone else that might know if you have some?" He says "no, there is none in the back". My husband proceeded to the order with a cookie and I got a pumpkin loaf.
Why hire someone who doesn't know the menu? He also took forever to take others orders. He had a line because he was playing 21 questions like he did with my order. I could understand he is new but the kid seems he got a job to shut his parents up.
The real kicker was they took FOREVER with our drinks. People who just ordered got their order before we did. My husband had to say something to get our drinks. We finished our pastries WAY before our drinks came. Never again. I...

I enjoy coming to this particular Starbucks, Long Beach and Cudahy, South Gate, CA, BUT now it feels like I'm walking into a funeral 😥. I understand your point of view, having uniformity (no pun intended), BUT I would rather support a business where depression does not set in the second I walk inside. Your Baristas ARE what makes me come back for more, certainly NOT the insane prices! Which reminds me, why don't you bring back 2019 prices for 1 month and see what happens to your profits??? You could even advertise it: "Starbucks like it's 2019", or whatever! Additionally, some of your food ingredients could be improved. You know what I mean? But I digress, whether it's Barista Javi, Melanie, Alan, Ty, Jose, and the rest (you know who you are!), THEY make it all worthwhile. CEO Niccol, I urge you to reconsider your uniform policy. Read moreI have been to this starbucks three times. I will be making my third visit my last. Same type of service in all three visit.
The three times I visited this place there was absolutely no cars on their drive through (me with my happy face because I didn’t had to wait) , but now I understand maybe why it’s always empty.
First they’re not friendly at all. second they always get my order wrong.
They always add whip cream when I said no.
what gets me the most is that all three visits the employee never mixed my drinks(ice caramel macchiatos). I have to always ask for an extra straw, remove the lid then of my verbiage then mix it my self while making a mess in my car.
In addition to that me being the only car there it took them a very long time to serve me my drinks.
Not sure who to blame here if the employee or the management, but is obviously they don’t care of about their customers.
I will be driving additional miles to another startbucks not to be dealing with this experiences.
