Having lived in Texas for seven years we're very familiar with the wonderful flavors of Central America, and we were excited to try El Guanaco when we learned about it. Walking into the resteraunt, it had promise: it smelled good, looked nice, and we were excited to look at the menu. That's when our excitement kind of hit the brakes. There are very few Salvadorian dishes on the menu, the menu mostly consists of Tex Mex food. After seeing that I chose the Tacos Al pastor off the special board. I don't know if he suspected me of being dishonest or was just plain stupid but I couldn't help but feel disgusted at the treatment where anywhere else would be willing to accept they made a mistake.
The food they got right was good but on the principle of treating customers as if they're liars and trying to rip them off, I can't support this place. It's a shame because you'd think a local place knows the value of treating customers right and with good faith. I see why others left the bad...

She said to the server those people just needed to use the bathroom they can't afford to eat here!!!! We are business owners as well and cannot imagine treating our customers that way!!
