Beachgrounds Park — Attraction in South Hadley

I would give this a 5 star rating but due to the lack of an official or employee and also very bad parenting I dont see the park being open long. Especially the splash park area. Today I observed atleast 4 families that were allowing thier children to clog the drain with the rubber pieces from the swing set area. This was causing the area to flood and the equipment to not work properly. Upon further viewing I also found that they were all consuming alcoholic beverages and smoking. I feel if thier was an official or some kind of employee of the park there it would stop the mis behaving children and thier parents and the park would then last for future...

I grew up around this park,It is very beautiful! Just a shame that there is trash all over the place..... Come on People! Everyone SEEMS to WANT TO have a better MOTHER EARTH to HABITATE?!?! BUT YET NO ONE CAN PICK UP AFTER THEMSELVES.... Come on people stop coming to this beautiful park that I grew up in and TURNING IT INTO A DUMP!.. I PICKED UP TRASH FOR A GOOD HOUR HERE AND BARELY DENTED THE LOOSE TRASH.... DO YOUR PART TO HELP OR STOP COMPLAINING! PERIOD! IF THIS DOESNT PERTAIN TO YOU THAN I APOLOGIZE FOR THE RANT! If this is you leaving trash behind please stop! There is trash cans all over the place! If you want to ruin parks do it...

I AGREE WITH MELISSA BOISVERT 100%!!! I was there that same day with my son. The baseball field is way too close to the children's playground and spray park with NO fence! Like I said I was there that same day. I witnessed two foul balls fly over and almost hit two different kids. One child which was my niece. We called the Parks and Rec just to inform them about the safety of this issue. They are beyond RUDE!!! Another thing this park is dirty anyways. Tons of adults drinking alcohol beverages around kids and broken glass scattered. I do not recommend this park. Zero stars if I could...
