As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly hostess, who happened to be the owner. We were promptly seated at a booth and given some breakfast menus. It definitely hasn't lost it's charm from previous owners, in fact some items were added. After we ordered, the food arrived somewhat promptly, but didn't seem as tasty as expected. The coffee seemed like it was simply poured from a big-ole pot that hasn't been cleaned out in a while, possibly just using unfiltered tap water. The corned beef seemed seared over a scorching hot pan, same with hash browns. As a matter of fact, both didn't seem quite fully cooked. We didn't have much time that morning, so I just went for the eggs, which were delicious by the way. It's really hard to mess up scrambled eggs. Anyway, once we were done, the total was given and we were able to get on our marry way. If you're in the area and there is absolutely no othere alternatives, then do give them a chance, as they do have some really good deals/options on the menu, but don't expect a fine...
Read moreThe food is fair priced and excellent in quality, abd the staff are friendly, the restersunt itself is a small cute little sit in diner type affair with a varried menu that has most of the traditional eatery favoritrs, with a wide variety of pancakes, pies, and sweets to go with the nornal best of hits. Portions are very large. The only reason they are marked off is they are understaffed. Ive been in several times around the linch rush and thry frequently have a single waitress and si gle busser. She even turned enough so anyone looking could see the video call. Biscuits and gravy were terrible. Biscuits overdone. They do not split the Biscuits just plop them down and cover with gravy. All you taste is a heavy over done biscuit. The toast does not even have any color on the bread nor the butter melted. I ordered over medium eggs and got over easy. The American fries and crispy bacon were only good things. I haven't been here in person in over a year and now I remember why I don't like their...
