Highly recommended making a reservation. This place could probably get by on location alone, the views of the lake and mountains are incredible and complemented by the rustic, warm interior and some soft jazz. But they’ve gone beyond to provide a quality dining experience. The service, food, and wine, were all exceptional 5/5. We started with the poke which was fresh and delicious. Followed by halibut for him and ravioli for me, both were beautifully presented and very good. The only thing that could be improved upon was our dessert. The bread pudding was a burnt to the point of bitterness on the bottom, so 3/5. Honestly, it could be that the rest of the meal was so enjoyable that the dessert came off as just meh. In any event, we are definitely looking forward to dining in this family run establishment again. The ribs looked amazing!

Burger is awesome - 5star The brussel with pork belly was amazingly satisfying with the first few bites, but was a bit too oily and salty to finish the whole bowl - 4 star The cheese/salmon plat is good as expected - 3 star Overall love the place, great for late afternoon lunch after a ski day! I hope the chef can make the brussel and pork belly less oily / salty, or match some brother vegi with the dish.

First off, WOW. What an amazing experience. Sunset, lake, wildlife, and fantastic food. We had the mushroom raviolis, CLR burger, rack of lamb, and Ceasar salad with salmon. 20 out 10! Stacy is by far the best hidden gem in the mountains, she is so kind and attentive! If you get the chance to dine here, do not pass it up!

We drove over an hour and a half, only to be told that they were booked full in the dining room. So they sat us in their lounge area. Come to find out, they only serve a very limited bar/appetizer menu. They will not serve you off the dinner menu, which was weird and disappointing. I didn't drive 90 minutes to eat a burger, a chicken.sandwich, or a BLT. There were a few more items but the same style of bar food. I saw three empty tables on the deck and asked if we could be seated outside, not only because of the views and cool weather but because COVID is running wild in California right now. They wouldn't let us because it was a part of the restaurant and not the lounge. I then asked the floor manager from Chicago, "I thought the dining room was full?" She said it is and that those tables are off limits in case it rains. There wasn't a cloud in the sky and so I asked if we could sit out there even if we only got bar food. She said no again. I grew very frustrated as none of her answers made sense, logically. I probably should have rolled with it better as I refused to eat while I watched my wife eat her burger. The place seemed cool with great views. So when we go back, we will make reservations, and I will apologize to the floor manager from Chicago for not being cordial when I exited the restaurant. I will also...

We went twice. Tried to call for reservation for thurs night, phone wasn't answered so we go at 5pm to see if there are any seats for dinner. They had none but offered us lounge seating which was fine, except the service. We didn't even get waters refilled. Just the check. Made a reservation for the next night as nothing else is opened nearby in Oct and were hoping to try a bigger menu selection. The specials included "crab stuffed trout" which my son and i immediately were excited to order as we love seafood. When the meal came out it was just fish stuffed with rice. I asked the server where the crab was and he said "no, there's no crab, just rice. Hope it still tastes good" and that was it. I asked the hostess for the specials menu again because how did we both read "Crab stuffed" wrong. Sure enough that's what the menu says. She takes it back to the kitchen and says it must be a misprint "sorry". I would think they would offer to change the bill or offer dessert or something. Disappointed both times sadly. Food did taste good but for the price we didn't even get the seafood we were supposed to,...
