Annie's Soft Ice Cream — Restaurant in South Londonderry Township

I would drive by this place, and without fail, it was always really busy. I figured it had to be a great place since it's always so busy. I also appreciate any local place that is not a large chain place. They make their own creations, and you can't compare what you get here for other places because it's truly so different. I will let you know they only take cash, but the gas station across the street has an ATM. I usually get their M&M Artic Creation. One time, I opted for a banana split, but I was truly unable to eat all of it. I felt like it weighed at least 3 to 5 lbs. If it was around when I would get ice cream with my grandma back in IA, it would have been a game changer. We always were able to get anything we wanted as long as we could eat it all. I ate my first banana split at 5 yrs old. I would never have been able to eat this banana split ever by myself. It's a great option if you are looking to share with others. Still look forward to going back and trying new things from time to time....

The girls that were working this evening were not polite at all. I was the only customer. I walked up and was ignored. Then once noticed I started to ask something and she looked away while I was talking which caused me to have to repeat myself, that is so rude. I am not familiar with the menus and asked where sundaes were so I could see what’s in them and she said they are up there and pointed to menu. Well the menu doesn’t list what is in each sundae. Also when the other girl handed me what I did order I said thank you each time I was handed something and she didn’t say a word. Manners go a long way with me. I have worked in customer service and I think these girls could use some education in it. I don’t plan to go back....

Great soft ice cream never thought I could actually get such a beautiful tasting ice cream like that. Even the frosty, was delicious and softer. If you are someone who has sensitive gums, it is a great place for you. It’s worth the money you give and it’s better and cheaper than other ice cream places. They have great service.
