We took the family out for dinner at last night. I had been here prior when I lived in Palmyra, but it frankly forgotten about it when we moved down to Mount Joy. If you are looking for brick oven pizza or various pastas including tortellini, linguini, spaghetti, lasagna, and gnocchi with luxurious sauces (their takes on Italian classics); all served in a relaxed atmosphere with Sinatra playing in the background this place is for you. They also serve eggplant, veal, and chicken dishes which I will check out the next time we are there. Our whole family was thrilled with the quality of the food, and almost everyone took something home.
Be aware that they are short staffed right now (and looking to hire) and only have one waitress covering the dining room. She did a fantastic job, but was just spread to thin for the number of customers in the dining room. I recommend your grab your favorite bottle of wine and plan to stay a while (they are BYOB), or make your order to go because that's also an option. In either case this is definitely a place worth...
Read moreOrder two pizzas and a salad on line. Went to pick up and only one pizza was made. When I asked why the older lady flipped out on me, I’m sorry we missed the second one just started saying inappropriate things. Then the little old guy making pizza came over I assume it was his wife started yelling at me when I proceeded to tell him that I am the customer just asking why he told me not to talk to him anymore that I am beneath him. It took me five times to say I want my money back I don’t want your food before I got a refund. Will never go back will never recommend to anyone ever. The only recommendation I have for this business is to not let the owners behind the counter they are not business people. I try to support small business but maybe this is one in campbelltown it...
Read moreWe have been wanting to try Sopranos but parking is tight in the area and we're usually next door getting ice-cream at Annie's (delicious!) BUT we did stop in for an early dinner, finally. Entrance is between the dining room and the pizza/sub area. The dining room's decor is old world Italian, with tables. Sinatra and others serenaded us. I had manicotti, husband had Lasagna. Both were very good. House made sauce is very fresh tasting, good thing we had some warm seasoned bread to sop it up! Our dinners came with a good sized salad. The menu has veal! An item that isn't seen very often. Our waitress was attentive and very pleasant. Overall, very good,...
